@Matthews1127 -
I LOVE your description of your DH - he sounds wonderful!
But since you're also a Bruce fan - and I am a HUGE Bruce fan - I thought I'd share my favorite Bruce photo with you....
All day long, baby. Alllll daaaaaay looooong!!!
A man who is dedicated to family. A man who not only loves his own children, but who falls in love with someone else’s children, and makes them his own.
My DH is “dad” to ALL SIX of our children. There is no separation; the love for all six is the same, and that is rare to find. He’s an amazing father.
A strong work ethic. In the midst of a global pandemic, we are both essential. I’m medical, he’s construction. Working heavy highway, and as a Superintendent, overseeing a crew of 50+ men & women, he puts his life on the line, every day, never complains, and does what he needs to do to support his family.
He is not a fan of make up; he loves the natural look. He accepts me for me, and doesn’t try to change who I am.
He’s my lover and my protector, and he takes care of me, when I’m sick or in pain.
He’s the full package. It’s no wonder why I fell in love with him.
It doesn’t hurt that he bears a striking resemblance to Bruce Willis. Bruce Willis is hot.
He’s a man of great character, has a goofy sense of humor, and loves with his entire soul.
Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.
My DH is the epitome of “attractive”.
On another note: I understand the draw to Jason Momoa: he’s sexy on the outside, but his love for family, other people, the community, and Mother Earth, the oceans, in particular, make him a stunningly beautiful human being.
So, rock on, Jason lovers!!! Count me in!

A true family man is something that biologically speaks to all of us.
Even if we dont want children, IMHO seeing a man take care of children signals that he is a good mate and can take care of himself as well.
Its just written into us when we see a handsome man with his children.
Its easy for me to forget this believe it or not and I'm always a little taken aback when were out as a family and my two blondies are holding hands (beau & our 5 yr old daughter) and I'm some feet behind and they dont realize I'm in the picture....women naturally look, smile, and become openly curious. Even ones holding hands with their man! Its nuts!
You sound like you have a gem! Dont let him go!
A man that can treat children from another as his own is extremely rare as sad as that is. There are hurdles with adoptions of all sorts and a man mature enough and loving enough to overcome those with you is truly special. ❤
@ItsMainelyYou *True story* When I was a student nurse and lived in London I took a Saturday job at a florist for some extra cash. In walks Alan Rickman aka Snape for some flowers for an actress friend of his.
This was back in 1993. He was awesome, had a wicked sense of humour and gave me a really big tip. He made me laugh so much I tripped over a bucket of water!
So I have always been a bit in love with him!![]()
