What is *actually* attractive to you, compared to what internet trolls think you find appealing?

The thing that is most attractive to me is a person who smiles with their eyes. That genuine smile that you see from kind people and people with a great sense of humor.

Physically I am attracted to (and married) a man who is tall and physically fit, with enough confidence to make me feel safe, but enough humility for me to trust them.

I'm a sucker for a sexy voice. I really AM the girl who would say "You had me at hello."

Intelligence. If you're not super intelligent, you're not going to be my cup of tea.

A well ordered life. As in - someone who has pursued a career, who looks after their body, who has organized finances and still loves his mom and gets on with his kids. I love balance in people - it speaks to good mental health and normally is a quality attached to people who don't hurt others.

I like nice hands and feet and a well shaped head - bubble heads bother me. And a nice mouth; thin lips and receding chins leave me very cold.

Altruism. Someone who can see beyond themselves and put themselves into the shoes of others - and who CARES about the experience of others.

And a great big laugh. Because laughter and sex run very close together....

I like to fantasize that I'm forced to be wed to the next king in line which is young Matt D. here...oh yesssssss...I mean "Oh no!" And my one true love which is Jude L. finds me and has to save me before my wedding day and we escape into the forest together to make a modest little cottage and live happily ever after.

Yes, the Disney was strong on my generation. Dont judge! ;))

Im also just attracted to a man that has all of their ducks in a row but keeps some boyish charm about him .....an unquenched thirst for adventure. Someone that's very decisive is also sexy as I'm the opposite. I also am attracted to the magic that can happen when you truly have a connection, which I feel lucky to have with my Mr. B, where you almost can read each others minds.
You feel when theyre in danger miles away. Its a very strange thing

A man who is dedicated to family. A man who not only loves his own children, but who falls in love with someone else’s children, and makes them his own.
My DH is “dad” to ALL SIX of our children. There is no separation; the love for all six is the same, and that is rare to find. He’s an amazing father.

A strong work ethic. In the midst of a global pandemic, we are both essential. I’m medical, he’s construction. Working heavy highway, and as a Superintendent, overseeing a crew of 50+ men & women, he puts his life on the line, every day, never complains, and does what he needs to do to support his family.

He is not a fan of make up; he loves the natural look. He accepts me for me, and doesn’t try to change who I am.

He’s my lover and my protector, and he takes care of me, when I’m sick or in pain.

He’s the full package. It’s no wonder why I fell in love with him.

It doesn’t hurt that he bears a striking resemblance to Bruce Willis. Bruce Willis is hot. ;)2

He’s a man of great character, has a goofy sense of humor, and loves with his entire soul.
Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.
My DH is the epitome of “attractive”.

On another note: I understand the draw to Jason Momoa: he’s sexy on the outside, but his love for family, other people, the community, and Mother Earth, the oceans, in particular, make him a stunningly beautiful human being.
So, rock on, Jason lovers!!! Count me in! :cool2:

You're attracted to a dead wizard? That maybe IS a tiny bit weird....:lol::lol::lol:

Hahahaa, listen, dude is magic...things can be worked around! :Up_to_something:

I LOVE IT, @mrs-b!!
Near the end stages of my mother’s Alzheimer’s, she called him Bruce Willis. She introduced him to the care nurses as Bruce Willis. We got such a kick out of it. In one of his birthday cards to her, he signed his card “Bruce Willis”. He had a special relationship with my mom, and she loved him, dearly. I am thankful for their bond.
I still laugh, every time I think about it...lol!!
Any time a Bruce Willis film is on tv, the kids shout, “Hey, Dad!! You’re on TV!” :lol-2:

A true family man is something that biologically speaks to all of us.
Even if we dont want children, IMHO seeing a man take care of children signals that he is a good mate and can take care of himself as well.

Its just written into us when we see a handsome man with his children.
Its easy for me to forget this believe it or not and I'm always a little taken aback when were out as a family and my two blondies are holding hands (beau & our 5 yr old daughter) and I'm some feet behind and they dont realize I'm in the picture....women naturally look, smile, and become openly curious. Even ones holding hands with their man! Its nuts!

You sound like you have a gem! Dont let him go!
A man that can treat children from another as his own is extremely rare as sad as that is. There are hurdles with adoptions of all sorts and a man mature enough and loving enough to overcome those with you is truly special. ❤

All that you mentioned is so true!!
A lot of people forget how valuable a man who is devoted to his family, esp his children, really is.
I fell in love with my DH after I not only saw him with HIS children, but with MINE. My kids loved him, first. That was my answer. We are a package deal; all or none. When they created a bond, I knew he was the one for me. He was wonderful to me, but what made me melt was the way he fell in love with my babies. Our children all get along (also rare), and they have drawn an invisible line of respect among each other. His 4 live with his ex-wife. My two live with us (my oldest is in college, so he just visits...lol). When all 8 of us are together, it’s a very pleasant experience because everyone gets along. We have been very blessed. I’m extremely fortunate to have the gift of our blended family. He’s definitely a keeper. ♥
It sounds as though you have found the same in Beau, and your little one. That’s more valuable than gold!

Not weird.
Shh, I secretly love Snape!alan-rickman.jpg

@ItsMainelyYou *True story* When I was a student nurse and lived in London I took a Saturday job at a florist for some extra cash. In walks Alan Rickman aka Snape for some flowers for an actress friend of his.
This was back in 1993. He was awesome, had a wicked sense of humour and gave me a really big tip. He made me laugh so much I tripped over a bucket of water! :eek2:
So I have always been a bit in love with him! :kiss2:

*screeches* I. Am. Beyond. Jealous.
I love him as an actor and when he played Snape, I was done. Of course he'd be lovely in real life, because of course...
It's good you tripped on the water, it's good there was water- because if I had been there my ovaries may have set the place on fire:drool:

And I find Audrey Hepburn to be one of the most beautiful people of all time. Inside and out.
