ummmm, wow is all i can say after watching the clip last night...he really needs to get himself together cause this needs to stop.

such an a**. At this point I really don''t understand how people like him, Chris Brown and what not are allowed to dominate. I mean, there has to be a point where we say "enough is enough". I am really disappointed that MTV and radio stations continue to endorse such classless jerks.

At the VMAs last night, he went on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift during her Best Female Video speech, took the mic from her, and told everyone Beyonce should have won because her video was better.

Beyonce ended up winning Video of the Year (which must be why she didn''t win in Taylor Swift''s category) and she called Taylor Swift on stage so she could give her speech that Kanye interrupted. I love Beyonce!

I loved this. Beyonce is so much more classy than people give her credit for. That was downright brilliant.

I felt sorry for Kanye''s girlfriend after he pulled that stunt. She looked soooo embarrassed. I knew there was a good reason why I never bothered to buy one of his albums. His stuff is catchy but he''s a jerk and he sucks live.

I''ve disliked him for the longest time...his music is o.k. And nothing to brag about and compare himself to elvis or MJ..and this doesn''t surprise me at all! He is an attention seeking pompus a$$ and they should ban him on mtv and radio for a looong time! And I think he will get booed everytime after this stunt. Poor taylor, this was such a moment for her and im glad she got it in the end..I figured she cried

He actually blogged later and in his blog STILL went on about Beyonce having "the best video of the decade" after "apologizing" for what he did. I really hope he DOES have a flat-line in sales after this because he really is a jerk.

I wanted to add that Yes Beyonce did the right thing, but she sure didn't look so completely appalled as it was happening.

ugh, what a w*nker. this is really typical of him. I never thought I''d put classy and beyonce in the same sentence, but good for her for inviting taylor on stage to give the speech she deserved.

I disagree, I think she looked completely shocked like "what the ef are you doing?" and then was making this face like "no, stop" to Kanye. I think she knew it made her look bad too and didn''t want to be associated with it.

As for the end when she let Taylor finish.... that looked to me like it was just set up by MTV. I mean how was Taylor right there with a microphone in her hand? Her performance was at the beginning of the show, so it''s not likely that she was hanging out right off stage.

I was glad they let her have her time. It was weird how they just cut it after the outburst, maybe it would have been hard to continue with her acceptance speech, but it almost made it worse.

As for Kanye, I have to admit that as much as I do think he is an @ss I do like his music and think he is a talented musician. I didn''t mind the "GB hates black people bit" or any other time before that he complained about himself not winning an award or whatever

I can''t stand him anyway! He''s an arrogant ass who has made a name for himself with hits where he did nothing more than take someone else''s song and run his mouth over the top of it. He should be thanking Ray Charles and Daft Punk for his success rather than walking around thinking he''s God''s gift to the musical world and we should all bow down before his unsolicited opinion. Kudos to Beyonce and Taylor Swift both for being classy when he so obviously lacks the ability!

I''m in agreement with most that Kanye is nothing overly special, and really needs a wake up call as to how not amazing he is. I''m a bit tired of his outbursts, and I am holier than the world attitude and I really hope that people see his colors and he starts to fade.

I didn''t see Beyonce''s video, but I do know that that song drove me absolutely insane for the amount of time that it remained on top, and really in general I don''t find her music overly appealing, but I tend to be a person who appreciates more artistic music.

I think that Kanye fits the psychological definition of a megalomaniac. What a total a$$. Poor Taylor - she is only 19 - do you remember what it felt like to be a teenager? How do you think that made her feel? Thank goodness that Beyonce tried to remedy the situation (not like any of Kanye''s idiocy was her fault - but it just shows how classy she is).

Kanye should be banned from any and all future award shows. Say what you want when it''s your turn to talk, but it was totally inappropriate to take that poor girl''s moment to speak away from her.

To me, Beyonce looked embarassed and a bit incredulous at Kanye's actions - yes, there was a smile, but it looked more like an incredulous, embarassed smile, than an "I'm happy you're doing this, Kanye" kind of smile. I think she was really taken aback by what he did and wasn't exactly sure what to think at first.

Nobody expected him to do what he did - it was completely uncalled for and inappropriate. It's not up to him to decide who deserves what - it's the people's choice. Just imagine if everyone was allowed to interrupt the acceptance speech of every winner they didn't agree with - chaos! I'm glad he was booed for his behaviour. It was totally embarassing and distasteful - not to mention completely unprofessional!

P.S - Not sure what you meant about Beyonce's music not being very 'artistic' - I think that most music is artful in some way. It may not be your personal style - that doesn't make it any less artistic, though.
