My question is what does the average jewelry insurance policy cover?
I'm thinking about ordering an e-ring off the internet and getting a pave band. I know with all the small stones some usually fall out. Also, with a white gold band, it had to be re-plated every however often depending on the person wearing it. I don't really want to go to the trouble of mailing the ring back every time I need something done. I'd rather take it to a local jeweler and that usually voids any warranties offered from the online vendor.
So does insurance cover replacing the little stones in the band and re-plating white gold?
Also what else might it cover or not cover?
Thanks
