What do you wear with black pearls

I have seen many women wear pearls with casual and formal outfits. However, what do you wear with black pearls? Can you wear casual and formal outfits? More importantly, what color best works with the pearl? Would a woman main wear either a gray, black, or white outfit?

I guess that I like contrast - I prefer to wear my black pearls with an ivory or white top or dress. When I am wearing black, then I wear my white pearls.

But pearls are so versatile - they really go with so many things - just experiment & see what you like!
