I love bezel set halos. The profile is so sleek and I love that the center diamond is an heirloom. I think it''s a total knockout!

This is a 50 year old family heirloom center stone that my son had recut by the fabulous Brian Gavin! It was a 1.7 now a 1.3, I, VS and it sparkles like crazy. The setting is the BGD halo with approx .75 ctw of FG/VS melee. My son''s soon to be fiance wanted a halo setting -she has no idea she is getting this heirloom and my son says, "she''s gonna faint when she sees it!" I"m the lucky Mom who gets to be in on the secret! By the way, she is an adorable young lady and I am delighted by the whole thing! I have worked with BGD on a couple of projects this year and can''t say enough about Lesley and Brian - they have been awesome to work with and their diamond jewlery speaks for itself!! Thanks for all the lovely comments. I''ll try to post the handshots when they are available.

It is definitly gorgeous! Do you have any before shots of the stone? I love to see the make overs when someone has a stone recut.

I don''t have any before photos of the center stone that I can post...but I can tell you that BGD recut it in all the right ways and it''s ideal in proportions now and more beautiful than I ever thought possible. I chose not to get the stone lab certified although my son and future DIL may want to do that on their own one day. Right now all that matters is the beauty and significance of the ring!

Thank you all for your nice comments too. My son gave me "permission" to post the photos and he has really appreciated all the positive comments. I''m gonna turn him into a PS fan yet! He is working on the proposal next...

Another round of applause for BGD
