Hello,

I had a hell of a time trying to get a nice picture, I did not have access to a better camera. The picture does not do justice to the beauty of this ring. In person the detail and fire are incredible. This is a princess cut just over 1 carat set on 14K white gold.

I plan on proposing this Saturday, July 26th. Wish me luck.

See pics below...

That is a beautiful ring. Good luck with the proposal. How are you going to propose, if you don't mind?

We are going to take a old fashion 1902 Steam Train, first class, to a small town in Quebec, Canada and then go down to the lake where we will have a beautiful setting and enjoy lunch by the water. It should be very romantic since the train ride goes through the Gatineau mountains, very scenic.

After lunch we will walk by the water and I will propose at one of the look out areas, they have a great view of the landscape and water. We will then take the train back to Ottawa and I will have a room full of candles and romantic music and of course a long stem rose.

If you have any other suggestions I am all ears.

Thanks.

Mike

The ring is stunning and it sounds like you have a beautiful day planned. You will knock her socks off !

Best of luck to you both.

I thought I would include another pic.

I hope you like this one as well.

I feel like a proud father, I have taken so many pictures.

I just love diamonds.

I just love this stone! Great shots, too. Good luck with the proposal, but sounds like you have all bases covered. Make sure you take some shots on her hand as well. We just can't get enough of the photos.

Well, you leave the forum for a couple weeks and someone swipes your identity.

I have to agree that Leos rock as my fiance is a Leo...alot of ego stroking and petting required...but it's all in good fun. His bday is this week! We'll be in the East Coast visiting his fam.

Hello,

The proposal went even better than planned. The weather could have been better, but the atmosphere was great. I would encourage anyone to propose outside and make it memorable. We were in the beautiful garden beside an old Colonial style bed and breakfast, setting was perfect. She had no idea that I was going to propose and was taken by surprise. The element of surprise is there anything better?

She had no idea that I had even bought a ring. I will never forget the look on her face when I asked her to marry me and the look on her face when she saw the ring for the first time was priceless.

Many people stop her and ask to look at the ring, the sparkle and brightness of the stone is increible. She shows it off like a proud mother and I am beside her like a proud father.

The ring is an extension of both people, so it is worth spending a little more and seeing how happy she is to show it off.

Thanks fo everything.

Homerj

ps - I agree Leo's are the best!

Congratulations on a lovely ring and an even lovelier fiancee!
