What do you think of this Hidalgo eternity?

What do you guys think of this Hidalgo eternity band? It actually looks good with my e-ring, although I still the Contessa band is the way I am going to go.

personally, I think the metal is overpowering the diamond in this eternity band....

I agree, although when you see it in person, and it''s not magnified, it''s hard to determine what''s metal and what is diamond in this ring. You just see the round shapes and your mind tricks you into thinking it''s all round diamond. I like it, but probably not for my wedding band, and it also seems a BIG BIT too much to pay $2875 for .24 of ct weight of diamonds.

I agree, I like the uniqueness of the style, but for that price I would expect more diamonds!

I definately prefer the contessa. This one just looks too bulky for being such a small band.

I''ve always loved Hidalgo''s designs, but their cost always seems so much for the piece of jewelry.

i paid about 600 less for my custom whiteflash eternity band with 1.5 pointers in a milgrain bezel.

I can definitely see the appeal of the ring, and normally I really like Hidalgo stuff... but my very humble opinion is that it reminds me of those "illusion" type of diamond studs that you can buy very inexpensively in department and mall jewelry stores. All metal, very little *diamond*. So honestly, for the money, I think you could do better.
