What do you think of this heart?

It’s a 1 ct H VVS2.

I never realized how hard it is to photograph diamonds!

Does it have a nice spread for a 1 ct? I’m just trying to decide if I’ll regret not going bigger.

It does have nice sparkle for a heart. No mushy areas that I can see.

This is just for a casual ring, I plan to bezel set it in yellow or rose gold.

Sorry for the indent in my finger. I had just taken off my other ring.

I think it's really difficult to give an opinion based on those photos alone. Do you have any cert and maybe can take a video in different lighting conditions?

Thanks for the reply! I do have the cert.

Here are some videos. It’s pretty overcast here so I did the best I could.

I’m also looking for a heart stone, but rather in the 2 carat range.
I think the shape of this stone is very nice, but I see on your pictures a yellowish tint, which is normal for an H colored stone. Does the tint maybe disturb you or are you not color sensitive?

How are you going to set it? Ring, pendant? Which color gold do you plan to set it? In yellow gold an H color is going to look white, but next to white metal it could look yellowish.

Hate to do this to you, but I think it would be better to take the diamond out of the box and put it on the back of your hand, trying not to touch it on the face, or have a soft cloth to clean it. Then take some in sunlight and indoor and the best place (usually) the bathroom by the mirror with down lights!
