Hi again folks,
My goal was to be in the 1.5ct range, and get the best quality possible for around 10-12k. It seems that the price/quality ratio for this diamond is pretty good, but wanted to get some other opinions...
Round Brilliant
1.585 AGS000
G
SI1 (Eye clean, only a small feather on the side makes it an SI1)
7.56-7.59 x 4.6
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Proportions: Ideal
Total depth: 60.7%
Table: 55%
Crown angle: 34.3
Pav angle: 41.0
Girdle: 1.0%
Culet: pointed (.06%)
HCA Score: 1.5 EX/VG/VG/VG
$11,330
It's not a hearts & arrows, but is it really that important if it's AGS000 and scores well on the HCA and has good light return from looking at the ideal scope pictures? I'm guessing if it was a H&A, I'd be paying a lot more...
Considering all the factors, do you guys think this one's worthy?
Again, thanks for everyone's help!
