Difficult to say with just the stats. Strong fluorescence with F color needs to be evaluated for cloudiness or haziness in the stone. You’ll need to consult the gemologist.
A video would be helpful, as well as ASET & IS images to tell if the stone is a consideration...

If you are buying on James Allen, with a huge selection from the inventory, keep looking. If you post your budget, carat, colour and clarity requirements, people will help you look.

Any particular reason for the high colour and very high clarity? Strong fluor with colourless may cause the stone to look overblue in the presence of sufficient UV light exposure (as opposed to looking just whiter with a lower colour like H,I,J), some love that look but some don't.

The cut could be better.

Thanks - okay was always told 4 c's - my budget is $1000-1300 aud for the diamond I want it to be .50c - colour I thought was anything d-f (clearly wrong on that part !), and I thought clarity was around VS1 or VS2.

For that budget your selection is fairly limited at the 0.5 carat range.This one is $1300 USD ($1600 AUD) and would be a good compromise in terms of cut and clarity.

This has more complementary angles and a better arrows pattern than the first 0.46 you posted.

You'll never see the H color face up in a diamond that small, and I would personally rather have an H with no fluorescence than an F with strong fluorescence (as mentioned above, strong fluorescence in a colorless stone can give the stone a blue look under certain lighting conditions. A small minority of people are really into that look, but I would say most prefer a white diamond).

I would personally go for the first 0.5 G color I posted though. It's going to be "eye clean" and is one color grade higher than the H stone and, most importantly, faces up .2mm larger! (5.1mm vs 4.9mm).

Have you seen GIA graded stones for evaluate color? If not, have a visit at a local jeweler that can show you stones. The ability to see color is very much biologically defined. While a halo makes it hard to see color from the side, if you are sensitive to color (and bothered by it which are different), it could bug you. If you are ok with color and we are trying to maximize spread (mm not weight), here are a few options that vary the 4Cs.

I like the setting you posted, but do you like it with the 0.5c diamond as shown? Because of the cushion outline and the size of the diamond, the distance from the inner edge of the halo stones is not symmetrical (further in the corners)? Is that ok with you? This setting would avoid this (if that bugs you).

From a known vendor. You can see clear tint in the diamond, but in old cuts I find that charming. Good price even if color was graded a bit lower by GIA.
