I just received this photo of the studs I ordered. What do you think? They are .41 cts each. Not huge, but what I could afford at the momemt. Please let me know what you think. They haven''t shipped yet so it may not be late to make changes or to use my "upgrade" option.

Also, the setting is in 14K white gold. Is that OK? I have 18K white gold earrings now that I wear everyday and I have never had a problem with them (such as having to replate).

GIA-13836885 .41 H SI1

AGS-8302503 .41 G SI1

I ran the numbers and the GIA stone scored a 2.5 on the HCA. Should I be concerned? The AGS had an excellent score.

Thanks for your help.

Bump. Please be honest if they are not good. No offense to Whiteflash, but all I get from them is "they are beautiful".... even from the acctg rep.

HCA of 2.5 is fine. The Ideal Scope and ASET image look good too.

The stones look great! Judging by the images, they should be beautiful. I wouldn''t freak out about the 2.5 score. 14k white gold should behave very similarly to your 18k white gold ring. Eventually you''ll have to rhodium plate it, but it''s a fine metal to work with and not inferior to 18k white gold.

I don''t know much about rounds or 14kt gold but they look like lovely stones. And just shy of 1tcw is a very nice size!!

Be sure to come back with ear shots!!!

Thanks for the kind replies. I am feeling better about the purchase. My experience with whiteflash was good - not stellar - but very good. They were very prompt in replying to my emails during the purchase phase... but the follow up was not as great as expected.

Thanks again and I am looking forward to seeing my new earrings in person.

They are very business oriented. I was very happy with their service, but not super friendly and gooshy if that''s what you want. Their diamonds are amazing and the craftsmanship on my ring was amazing, and they were excellent at executing all of it and in the end...that''s what makes me happy!

I agree with you. I think they have it all set up just right. Very quick to respond and got the purchase completed quickly and efficiently.

I don''t like the overly gooshy stuff either - especially from a jeweler- just seems too fake.

I really am looking forward to seeing the final product. I have seen some real duds in a B&M for twice the price!
