Oh, I personally wouldn''t try to pick ''em out myself.

Just tell WF what you''re looking for, your price, and let them do the work.

Thanks...I have done that, but the prices they''re coming back with are much higher than what I''m finding! So I don''t know if maybe there is something wrong with the stones I''m looking at???

Not specifically.

They told me I/J color (not sure of clarity) would be about $500 ea. and that H VS2 would be about $600 ea.

I really don''t want to go down to J in color, but can''t afford $3,000 for the stones - so I thought I''d take a look through the PS inventory and was surprised at the prices I found...but I''m not sure why they''re so much cheaper...

The ones you listed were all in the 700s?

PS search, .30-.33, I VS1-VS2, limit budget to 550, and there are lots of AGS graded stones at James Allen.

It does appear that James Allen has more high quality stones of this size...do you think I should just order the stones from JA and have them set in the WF ring???

Oh man...

It appears that James Allen has a much bigger and less expensive selection of stones in this range, and on top of that - they can recreate the setting for $100 less than WF. I hate to abandon WF after all the time they have spent researching different options for me. But as it stands now, our budget only allows for a 1.25 tcw from WF or a 1.50 tcw from James Allen.

Ahhh...decisions, decisions...
