Hi FrenchGirl

Do you have any images such as ASET for this diamond and detailed photos please? Have you seen this diamond in person or is it for sale online?

Also do you prefer high colour and clarity and do you know what type of cushion you are looking for?

No pictures, no see diamond in person it''s sale online. Yes, I prefer high color and clarity and i love any type of cushion.

Ok no problem. As this cushion is for sale online, ask the seller if they can supply the above images, ASET and clear detailed photographs, also if they can run a Sarin scan to get the crown height if possible, that would be useful too. Do you know if this is an inventory diamond that is owned by the seller or is it from what we call the virtual listing? If it is a virtual stone, then the seller would need to call it in for evaluation.

Based upon the info you have, as far of the basic integrity of the stone, all seems fine. However, it is impossible to judge its appearance. I would echo Lorelei here and say that if you can''t see a cushion cut diamond in person, photos are a must! There are so many different ways the faceting and profile on a cushion may appear – is the stone more oval or more rectangular in shape? Are the corners sharp and tight or broad and curved? Is the faceting like a modern brilliant cut, old-fashioned chunky, or is it all glittery like like crushed ice? Is the diamond windowed? Are there dark areas? Is the crystal transparent? Even if you love "any type" of cushion, I would not consider such a purchase without at LEAST a photo. Diamonds are just like everything else in nature – some are exquisitely beautiful and some are downright unattractive (and even the best cutting can''t overcome this)!

If you are able to get some photos, I''d love to see how this diamond looks.
