What do you consider a 'sincere' apology?

Yes, it is my dog - taken last year and not photoshopped. I actually tormented him this way, poor boy.

Sadly, he's in the throes of being sick, and I expect we'll be losing him in the coming weeks. You can't imagine what I'd give to change that outcome. That said, he's here now, and we're committed to relishing this Christmas with him.

So yeah - I'll indulge in that whiskey with you, providing I get the stiffer glass (the one with less ice/water).

My cat was decidedly less cooperative or enthused by the 'reindeer games'.

And yes - his name really is Nicky as well - hub and I both had pets named Nicky when we met. The other cat is Sammy, so they are our version of "Larry, Darryl and Darryl" in our house.

Oh my gosh! That kitty is adorable!!!

Just looked back to see your sweet doggie, too! I am sorry you don't think he'll be here much longer with you, alj. :((

Wow, that's the best grumpy cat in a Santa hat I've seen on the internets all season! :appl: :appl: :appl:

I swear I posted about your 2 Nicky's last night. But apparently not.

First, I'm so very sorry to hear about Doggie Nicky's health. It's so hard to lose a faithful and loving friend. He's a gorgeous boy and I hope that at least you will get some nice opportunities to spoil him a bit and make him comfortable.

Second, LOVE LOVE LOVE the grumpy black and white cat photo. It's such a 'personality' shot. "I am NOT amused."

Third. Stiff glass is all yours. The only reason I don't add egg nog to mine is DH would divorce me. LOL. I'm not a drinker.
