What do you collect other than jewelry?

I collect certain Starbucks mugs (not my photo, but these are the same kind).

I used to collect physical books and movies, but not since e-books and streaming became mainstream.

How about you?

Witch balls. They're so pretty and who doesn't want a tried and true defense against a hex?
Not my picture, but I have at least 12 or so.
It reminds me, I want to get some more!

*It's crazy, but I've never actually been in a Starbucks, but I love the cups.

Art Pottery, Wedgwood jasper ware, flow blue china, English transferware, antique pocket watches, sterling serving ware, Asian art, Pueblo pottery.........

Do you have pictures of your pocket watches? I love them.

Witch balls! Why am I not surprised? They are beautiful!

I enjoy knitting so I have some yarn, and needles, etc., but my husband has so many hobbies that take up so much space in our small apartment, there's no room for me to collect "stuff". Sometimes that makes me feel sad, but most of the time I find it liberating.

SB has lovely mugs. Bought some in Hawaii a few years ago, and when it is Winter here I reach for them. Odd how that makes me feel better.

Thanks Sugah! :kiss2:

Oh, don't forget to increase the credit limits on all your cards, not for me but for you.
Then I can be even more generous contributing to your VISA bill collection.

Keep paying the minimums and we'll be besties for life.

Luuuuuv ya!
Meeeean it!

Does my MIL's collection of china and carnival glass count? I'm storing it for her in my dining room
She collects so many beautiful things that she runs out of room. I think we all have some parts of them!

Aren't they?! Popular in the 17th and 18th centuries in England. You hang them in your house windows or garden. They're so pretty and not a particularly expensive thing to collect.

But, of course

Hmmm, other than jewelry I collect weight especially around the middle lol! If I keep this up I might have to start collecting husbands!

Okay on a serious note, I collect all kinds of things, Snoopy and Sylvester items, vintage toys like Cabbage Patch dolls etc. I have a whole cabinet full of fun!

These are gorgeous, stracci. I especially love the bottom left one in the first two photos.

Oh, the one with the blue face!
I really melt for guilloche ladies pocket watches, and when I saw that one, I fell hard!
There would have been a gold tassel hanging from the loop at the bottom. Alas!

I had to have it! bought it on eBay.

@ lala646, My jewelry interests are really my only hobby. Like yours, my husband has more than plenty. Collecting mugs, hats, trophies/awards from running, genealogy, reading, and studying to name a few. He works full time and is very active in the community.

Sigh, where to start.
I’m on the spectrum so the collecting has always been strong in me.
I would go through phases / obsessions of different things.
Watches have always been a favourite. At my peak I had over 80. I have all sorts, including obviously ladies wrist watches but I also collected compact watches (a ladies face powder compact set with a watch movement) and other small / unusual clocks.
I’ve also have had a life long thing about wooden boxes. My favourites are the Puzzle boxes / inlaid boxes.
I have a collection of Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre, Clarice Cliff and other English porcelain including Crown Devon and Carltonware. I have a Lalique Fish Collection and the Chameleon collection (all 10) plus a pin dish and a ring.
since I’ve been “medicated” my behaviours are less intense / compulsive but I still have most of my special treasures. The self imposed rule with the watches is no new one unless I sell another.
I have a lot of stuff, mostly I curate it so that it’s not junk I’m keeping. It’s only fair on DH that I fund my new purchases with the sale proceeds of other things.
I could post 1,000 photos but here are a few.
