What do I do with 3 small diamonds?

The 3 small diamonds u see in the pic all have sentimental value to me. So I''m thinking about resetting them to match my wedding band (Cartier LOVE in pink gold). The diamonds are 0.18~0.2carat each. I did some research online and thought maybe this setting would work

Of course this is a 6 stone setting and mine would be 3. can anybody give me your opinion on such a ring with 3 stone? Any comment is welcomed, even if you think it''s gonna look miserable.

I''m also open to other settings if you can suggest.

how bout something like these modified of course. How bout adding colored stones as well? make it seven stones with four other colored stones?
