My most recent acquisition is an Alex Sepkus band, which I love, love love.

I am currently waiting to receive a pear for a pendant - 1.3, E, SI1 with strong fluorescence. The vendor I bought it from didn''t have photos, so I''m crossing my fingers and hoping for the best ... if it''s as beautiful as I hope, it will be going into a bezel pendant. I am trying to decide on all of the finicky details as we speak!

My next project, short-term, will be to bezel a gorgeous Burmese pear that I have - it''s about 2 carats, very similar proportions to the diamond, so I want one on a shorter chain, one on a longer chain, so I can wear them together.

Long-term? To infinity, and beyond!

Or, you know, some studs and eventually some pear dangles to hang from them ....

I have 2 loose stones that I want to set, and I am going to a gem show TODAY!!!!

For the 6 ct citrine I really want a nice halo ring, and for the 3 ct garnet, I was thinking about some sort of pendant... We''ll see what I can find today!

I''ve added 2 more that I''d like to do at some point. I want to do something mint colored in rose gold..probably a ring. And, I want to do an opal/emerald piece for my mom. Those are my and my brother''s birthstones, and happen to be her favorite stones. I bought her a ring last year for Christmas..but it was before I knew about windows in gemstones and boy oh boy..she wore it at Thanksgiving the other day and I was embarrassed when I looked at the stones. Glad *she* doesn''t know windows tho..but still, I want her to have something nice.
