What colour of gold would go best with pink sapphire?

Hi! I've got a lovely pink sapphire, 1.3ct and I'd like to set it in a diamond halo ring. But I don't know what colour of gold to choose.
Can't decide between pink and white. I've tried to search for what type complements best a medium light pink sapphire, but I've found nothing.
Hope you guys could help.

Personally I love the contrast of white metal with that pink - it would really make it pop imo

White gold and that color looks great in rose gold as well. Can you take it to a jeweler and try a few setting to see what You Like?

Well unfortunately it's not that easy. It's super hard to find a jeweller that would agree on setting clients own stone in my country. I've found a jeweller online, but he lives in the other part of the country, so I won't be able to see my ring in person until they send it already set.

i am with foxinsox on the white gold...., i think the white metal gives the halo more contrast to the center stone

i know these aren't quite the same color as yours but i think the rose gold doesn't actually complement most pink sapphires very well...it's too orangey. yours is more intense so it would probably look better but if it were me i'd likely do white gold with maybe rose gold prongs for the sapphire only. looking forward to seeing what you choose!

Mine has no halo & is set in platinum, which for me was the best choice as it makes the colours of the stone pop, especially in sunlight.

I love white and pink best. With rose gold it might be hard to match the tones making them complementary to each other. But white and pink always look great IMO. Makes each other POP.

Thank you! It’s very plain, but it’s a very pretty colour & shows all sorts of lilacs & sky blues in sunlight. It’s definitely a stone that makes me feel happy
