What colored gold would a light pink diamond go in?

I have a 1.08ct light pink diamond that I want to set in a ring. What colored gold would this look best in? Sorry about the poor picture it was taken with a camera phone.

I would personally suggest rose gold. It looks very nice with pink stones like tormaline or rubellite garnet. It might draw more attention to the pink hue. May be hard to find a setting in rose gold though. Just a suggestion

It appears that the green in the picture leans blueish. So probably white gold or platinum. If it leaned yellowish, like peridot, then maybe yellow gold would look bettter, but my gut says a white colored metal for this one.

I like the idea of a rich yellow 18k gold or rose gold again for this diamond.

I set the stone beside a white gold ring I have. I think it will look good in white gold.

Here is the green with some white accents around it. I think it would look good in that setting. I also have red accent diamonds too, that might look good.

Beware, not all rose gold is created equally. Shade varies, especially if the bench mixes it''s own alloy.

The pink in your diamond appears to be very subtle and I think rose gold might smother it. If it was mine I would opt for the palest 18K yellow I could find. Do a search for Platinumrock''s peachy pink diamond and you will see what I mean.

I like rose gold too, but this 1.08ct light pink diamond doesn''t look as good in it, I tried it, it didn''t show the pink as well. My small pink when put beside the rose gold brought out the color and even brought out the purpleish pink fire. The cushion in the photo is the pink I''m talking about.
