It could just be the pic but it looks like your dress has a subtle pink sheen to it. I would consider some really subtle pinky/bronzy almost like a pink or rose gold coloured shoes.
Took a minimal amount of digging but found that your colors are "Dark Grey, and Apple Green". These are VERY cool colors. If you want to match the feel of your wedding, then I would do Silver, and I would say a light silver. Have you picked out your jewelry yet?
However, I also like the idea of a soft metallic pink. If you haven''t picked out your jewelery, you could pair them with a nice set of pale pink pearls.
I wore an ivory dress and chose gold shoes. My dress was also lacy and antiquey, so gold seemed to fit better, silver didn''t really work at all.
Someone mentioned the color of your wedding jewelry... I don''t think that necessarily matters too much. Then again, I mix metals all the time... on my wedding day I had a platinum wedding set, white gold RHRs, a gold locket necklace, pearl bracelets and a white gold watch.
I''m all for mixing!
Anyway, if you need a tie-breaker, I think gold seems to work better with skin/hair that is reddish, and silver works better with skin/hair that is less red. I don''t know!
Thank you all for the feedback. It looks like silver is in the lead. I think that definitely makes sense, especially since my colors are gray and green. I needed to step back and see the big picture. The BM''s are wearing gray so its appropriate for me to accent with silver. I should have thought of that!!!! Genius!
I''m a little late in posting, but I wanted to add my two cents since I was just considering this very question today! I also have an ivory dress, and if I don''t go with dark purple shoes, I think silver is my next choice. Although I think gold might look a little better with an ivory dress in a vacuum, I think the colors of your wedding tip the scales in favor of silver.
What color shoes will your bridesmaids be wearing? Mine are likely going to wearing silver, so that is swinging my vote toward silver as well.
