What color prongs... rose gold halo and I color stone

Hi all,

Me again. I ordered the whiteflash ACA 0.857 I color choice from my previous post, set in a rose gold Ritani French Cut halo (the 0.45 option not the 0.21 option, at the advice of the woman I worked with at Whiteflash).

She is checking to see if they can make the prongs white gold/platinum since it's an I color. I was ok with the rose gold prongs with a J stone, but I think an I a cut above should have white prongs... am I wrong?

Please advise! If they cant change prongs to white gold, we might look at just doing the white gold french cut setting to begin with and forgoing the rose gold.

I think if the halo is rose gold, the prongs probably will be also. I don't think I'd worry about it.

Thank you. Was just concerned the prongs would make the I look yellower, but I am really clueless about it all.

No, pink gold prongs aren't going to make the stone look yellow. I color is pretty white. It doesn't hurt to ask if they'd do the prongs in white, but I looked at pics of rose gold halos and all the ones I saw also have the rg prongs. I don't think it will matter with 4 tiny prongs.

They could just rhodium the rose gold prongs if they can't make them in white gold.

When I had my rose gold bella halo, I had platinum prongs made with it.
