what is egyptian ratscrew? sounds um, interseting!

We bought London Go Fish, Old Maid and War for Christmas, so we''ve been busy with that. JD doesn''t play cards or board games, so I''ve not played in years. I did have a boyfriend teach me to play Gin..or Gin Rummy..is there a difference? Anyway, he showed me how to play and after he beat me the 1st time, I skunked his ass every time, so he wouldn''t play anymore.

Haha I''m sure there''s a more kosher name for it

Basically, it''s WAR but when you lay down doubles, the first person to slap the pile gets the entire pile. Makes for a violent game at times. I think that''s the only difference?

I don''t play cards as often as I used to, but I still like Gin/Rummy, Spit, Skip-Bo, and one called Golf. I''ll occasionally play Solitaire too.

haha - thanks BEG :)

BTW I think Gin and Rummy are two DIFFERENT games that some people have merged because there are some similarities - and thus there is now a gin rummy which is a combo of the two. Originally I think they were different through as gin you put your 7 cards down all at once and rummy you build and sometimes have more than 7 cards and a lot of varieties to play.

duplicate post :P
