Hands down, the original “Borat“ made me laugh more than any movie I’ve ever seen. Yes, parts of it were offensive, but it was overwhelmingly original and hysterical. :lol-2:

After “Borat“, in no particular order:

“There’s Something About Mary”
“Bridesmaids”
”Airplane!”
”Mrs. Doubtfire”

What are your fave funny flicks?

Here’s a list from AFI. Because we could all use a laugh

I finally saw Some Like It Hot. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon were brilliant!

I HAD to go to Katz’s Deli on my first trip back to NYC after seeing WHMS!

My DH can quote every line from Airplane! I think it’s a requirement for every guy in America :cool2:

One of my favorite musicians said that there’s some truth in “This is Spinal Tap“. The music industry can be pretty wild I guess!

We almost bought a house in the Groundhog Day town (Woodstock, IL). It’s so quaint!

I need to watch Foul Play. My dh said it’s really funny too.

I Love Groundhog Day! And yes, that town is so adorable. I guess I always thought it was filmed in Punxsutawney, PA, I didn't realize it was filmed in Woodstock, IL.

Borat 2 is pretty funny, I watched it today. Never seen the first one.

The Princess Bride
Talladega Nights
The Big Lebowski (really anything Coen Bros.)
In Bruges
Best in Show

The Big Lebowski is awesome. Jeff Bridges is great (and was hot, hot, hot IMO when he was younger!).

The first Borat had me in tears I laughed so hard. I’m going to watch the new one in the next couple of days.

Every so often my brothers and I will call one another and saying nothing but “I. Am. Job!” before hanging up.

Love:
The Princess Bride
Life of Brian
Monty Python Holy Grail
Robin Hood Men in tights

Caddyshack
Christmas Vacation
Coming to America
The Hangover
Happy Gilmore

The Hangover! How could I forget about that one! That should definitely be in my top 5 :lol-2:

Blues Brothers
The Jerk

Oh yes definitely Being There and Foul Play top funny movies of all time!

Airplane!
Naked Gun

Leslie Nielsen was great in both films.

DK :))

The Nutty Professor (Jerry Lewis, not the newer junk remakes)
Love at first bite
Mrs Doubtfire
White Chicks
School for Scoundrels

I don't know about 5, but top of the list would HAVE to be Coming to America. One of best movies of all time

OMG, I've seen that movie so many times—my brother was obsessed with it when we were growing up. It’s definitely grade A Eddie/Arsenio material.

I must have no sence of humour :mrgreen2:
Your lists look like the worst movies of all time to me :lol-2:
I watched this English movie called hot fuz almost all the way through before clicking it was a comedy
Although i did enjoy groundhog day

Is Trading Places considered a comedy, as I love that film?!

@Daisys and Diamonds I giggled at your comment re: Hot Fuzz. In parts, it is a p-take on us stuffy Brits which is quite funny.

DK :))
