What are your staple earrings?

I would assume that most here have more than a single pair. Which are the ones you wear regularly? Which would you replace immediately if they were lost? What earrings can you not live without BECAUSE they are worn so often? Bonus points for photos!

I have come to find out that I am a total leverback gal. My only leverbacks are a bit too....much for daily wear. They are my favorites though so I'm considering getting dh to somehow come up with the idea to purchase a more refined pair for daily wear. Who knows when it would happen, but a girl has to plan for these things.

So what styles are your go to's? Color or no? Discuss!

I wear my 3.14cttw studs daily. If anything, I'd upgrade to a larger size.

I've been eyeing jackets too...with the purpose of doing some color stone jackets.

I wear my IDJ jackets almost daily. I select the insert oec studs or colored cabachon stones based on what I'm wearing that day. It's a shame that none of my earrings see the light of day anymore. Every time I try to get myself to wear something else, I always end up changing!

OH MY GOSH. Those are amazing. What are the cabachons? Tourmaline? I've never seen anything like them. WOW. Can you share stats on the jacket? (I'd love to know more about the cabs too!)

Right now it's my leverback diamond 20K Gold clovery earrings. When I agreed to custom set some studs in higher carat yellow gold, I had no idea I'd love them this much (because honestly, I'm not a two tone kinda gal). I wear these all the time. Other than that, it's my 2 inch WG hoops when I want some atty-tude!

My 1.75 tctw studs... all the time.. I have 1.81 tctw huggies I bought from Phoenix but find I only wear them out and usually during the day or for business I'm not comfortable in them... (silly I know... but I'm in sales.. )

My .87ctw 3 prong martini diamond studs --- for a year straight as of next week! And now that I have the gorgeous IDJ jackets, they haven't come off since I received them in June! I love them - blingy, classic and large enough to be seen when my hair is misbehaving (not all the time - only when I'm awake and out in public!! )

I usually wear simple silver studs or small silver hoops. I have small diamond studs that I sometimes wear in my second holes but I feel like that look is going/has gone out of style. I'd love to get a larger pair of (milgrained) studs someday.

Hoops. I must have at least 10 pair of hoops - yellow gold and silver. I used to have two pair of white gold but unfortunately lost one of each, within a week of each other! My work wardrobe is more casual these days and hoops fit the bill most of the time. When I'm not wearing my hoops I'm probably wearing my .78ctw martini-set studs.

Two toned gold and plat dangly earrings w/ oecs. Bezels are plat, lever and hoops around the bottom bezels are gold. There is milgrain on the bezels, but you can't really see them in my pics.

Like VRBeauty, I am a hoop girl. I used to wear nothing but YG hoop earrings in what I think of as a conservative size--maybe 3/4 inch diameter. Then I grew to love white gold, and started wearing larger but thinner WG hoops, maybe 2" in diameter! I have very long, dark hair and am tall, so I've always found that studs got lost on me. Maybe I need to save up and invest in some 3 ctw studs!

I used to have a pic posted in Jewelry Pieces, but I did a search and can't find it, plus my old laptop on which that pic was saved is long dead. Sorry!

Lately I've been wearing 8 mm pearl studs, WG ball studs, or sterling silver square hoops. One of my pearls came unglued so that pair is out for repair, and one of the balls became dented somehow and I lost a backing, so now I'm wearing 9mm s/s balls that look a lot like Tiffany's version, or those s/s square hoops that are larger and actually show up amidst all my hair.

I'd love to have larger diamond studs but can't justify spending that much on my earlobes since my hair would just hide them anyway.

The cabs are pink tourmaline. I have an entire rainbow of cabachon studs that I adore. The stones were super cheap (under $30 a pair), though setting them wasn't quite as inexpensive. The jackets are IDJ's 5 pointers, though mine have one extra stone (lucky me!). They are awesome!!

I have a good variety of earrings and wear different earrings almost every day- it depends on my mood but if I have to choose just one or 2 favorites my lightweight diamond hoops and emerald cut clips would be my 2 favorite (for now) pairs. They are both pretty easy to use the phone with and that is one of my criteria.

Sorry, these pics are the best I can do- my samsung phone just died last night so I am using prior pics...so annoyed because the phone is less than 8 months old and now I am waiting for a replacement as Verizon no longer stocks replacement phones. So I either had to purchase a new one or wait for delivery for a free replacement. Really frustrated with Verizon right now but sorry, I digress.

I used to do hoops everyday. I just haven't found a pair of yellow gold that was in the neighborhood of 2 inches that I could afford! That's the size I like, minimum. I can wear stainless, but I don't generally wear white metals. But those are my ideal....I wasn't thinking along those lines with the price of gold right now! Somehow it hurts less to pay more for diamonds. How weird is that?

My go-to earrings are my James Avery sterling pieces. I buy only classic styles, so they go with almost anything. I'll get "cute" once in awhile with some costume jewelry, and I'll get fancy every now and then with some diamond hoops from Chad Allison. But my everyday choices are usually SS from JA.

I used to have a whole wardrobe of costume pieces that I loved, but these days I'm a little more conservative for two reasons: one, grabby little hands make me leery of wearing big dangles, and, two, I pierced my ears two more times apiece for a look I'd loved since I was a kid (and at the age of 32 - I wish I'd done it ages ago!), and big dangly earrings plus three pairs, no less, equals a little too much.

So these days I'd say my staples are my graduated diamonds studs - a 1.4 pair in the first hole, bezeled in white gold by IDJ (Yekutiel chose a pair of winners for me in my budget - love them), and a pair of .50 and .25, bezeled in yellow gold and rose gold respectively, from BGD. Goes with EVERYTHING. The funny thing is that before I had all three, the studs were inching their way to the front of the line ... but they just didn't seem to have quite enough presence. (I have elephant earlobes.) But together? I feel like it's the earlobe equivalent of a three-stone ring: lots of coverage!
