Hi Skippy Thank you! And nope, they are 0.88 ct total. I should have specified, oops! And yes, they are the 3-pointer jackets from IDJ made for 1/2 ct each stones. They work well with mine even though they are slighter smaller at 0.44 ct each since I have the 8-prong settings.

i wear my 1 cttw studs everyday in my second holes. my shared-prong hoops, 1.09 cttw, have rapidly become my go-tos for my main earrings.

There are some gorgeous earrings on this thread; I especially love T-Gal's.

However . . . . I look around my little corner of the world, and no one is wearing real bling every day. This must be entirely regional. I'm sure I would see real bling in Dallas or Houston. Most of what I see here is costume, not even the SS I wear all the time.

I say if you love them who cares?! Wear what makes your heart sing!! Life can be difficult and enjoy where you can and don't worry what others think. I mean, you're not hurting anybody and you are adding to the beauty around you. All good things IMO. Enjoy!

I wear pearl studs almost every day (think they are 7.5 mm but not sure). My two most frequently worn earrings are Roberto Coin Hoops (two different sizes of the wg woven style) or diamond studs. For other occasions I wear my diamond huggie hoops, pearl studs, and now my new sapphire halo studs! I might start a yellow gold collection, but my staple pieces are complete other than upgrading my studs. Oh, but I'd like a pair of leverbacks!
