What are your most expensive shoes?

Uh, I have a real weakness for shoes. I probably have over 40 pairs. I try to buy most of them at the Nordy''s Anniversary Sale; my shoe guy knows to expect me in June...That way, I don''t have to buy most at full price.

However...

I do have a pair of Choo boots $500 (purchased 1/2 off, December Choo sale)
Raspberry Seadaraby Manolos, $695
Red Valentino''s that I purchased on my honeymoon. I saw them, asked to try them on, and as I was walking the store, my husband took one look and told the salesperson, ''She''s going to buy those.'' 700 euros.
Uh, what''s the conversion?

My hubby says nothing about my shoe collection, and I say nothing about his card purchases.

Hey I have those Manolo sedarbys! Wore them to my wedding.

Chloe boots for about $1,200, followed by my studded black louboutins which were $995.

Personally I think I only get my money''s worth with pricey flats since I don''t wear my heels much, hence I''m on a ban. No more heels for me. Well maybe just one nude pair.

I have a couple of pairs of Manolo Blahniks which cost about $950 so they would be my most expensive pairs. I''ll buy shoes of all prices though.

This is a retail department that I never spend much money in! Since I do ballroom dancing, I buy those specialty shoes, around $125 each. My criterion for shoes is that they are comfortable and do not bother me in any way. I don''t use designer shoes as I often find them uncomfortable.

I try to keep any regular shoes under $100.

Shoes are my weakness but they are also a constant for me. My weight always seems to change so I try not the splurge on clothes however my feet always stay the same size!!

The most expensive pair I own are my sergio rossi boots that I bought this past winter. I believe they were around $1500. The second most expensive pair are my miu miu wedding shoes that with were about $865. I have a mirage of loubs, choos, zanotti, and various other designers.
