It’s around 2.5 cts, minor oil, from the Muzo mines and sourced from George Smith from muzoemeralds. I would say it’s on the lighter side of vivid green, definitely more saturated than a medium green emerald. I have a cert for it, but it’s in my bank locker and I forgot the color designation.

My dream stone is the hundred-carat Delong Star Ruby:



but I could never get 10 other people to agree to help me with a heist. Fortunately, I'm a patient bargain shopper and I don't aspire to perfection. After decades of carefully combing ebay, etsy, etc, I hit the jackpot on poshmark: a natural star ruby exactly like the Delong, only 1/50th the size and 1/50th the quality, selling for less than the value of its setting alone.

It's an intense, somewhat purplish magenta in the shade and hot pinkish red in the sun. Tons of red fluorescence. A definite, if blurry, star. Lots...

Minor oil Colombian emerald center in a Northway Studio Scrying Mirror setting. I can’t capture how luscious this emerald is. In real life, it’s a saturated vivid green with beautiful crystal and clarity.
