Today was red spinel - please stop the rain day (it didn't work lol,)

It's a dark spinel kind of day.

Dark blue spinel, too dark for almost everyone buy hey the price was good, decent cut and I like the finger coverage and glints of blue that make it look mysterious.

Purplish with a touch of burgundy spinel on the other hand

I am wearing my ruby ring, another ruby ring (both need to be cleaned and in one, prongs need to be tightened). Also, my grandma's old ring that I pulled out for antique thread, it has a story that I read in grandma's memoirs. A diamong antique bracelet. Ears and neck are another story. Lisa Elser's tansanite, a Mahenge spinel, a string of pearls. And, unexpectedly, my dad's baptismal cross.

I love, love the combination of pearls and gems. And it seems that the colors of the Tahitian is in perfect harmony with the tourmaline color.

Wearing my blueflash moonstone and sapphire bracelet with sapphire ring. These indoor pics of the moonstone bracelet do not capture the blue glow of the stones well at all, but you get the sense of the bracelet I hope. . I've got on some diamond earrings, and that's it today.

Thank you! The moonstone bracelet is one of my all time favorite bracelets because it's all hand made. Amazing how much hand work went into making jewelry before modern fabrication. Thank you also for the compliments on my ring. It's definitely my favorite.

You are so right, no one can achieve the quality of old-time jewelry, before CADS, and lasers, and parts done in different places. When I brought my diamond bracelet to a jeweler to look at it, he inspected it and then jokingly said that at some places, milgrain seemed to be made with a "jig saw". Handmade, no lasers, no precision. These old-time imperfections make handmade jewelry precious, and unique. The toil, not the conveyor belt. And the design of your bracelet is very artistic.
