A multi color strand made up of leftovers from several bracelets. Main colors are purple and silver-blues, with some others sprinkled in. It's 23.5" and the length feels a bit weird on me, as if it's not long enough or too long unless I'm in a tshirt, which i hardly ever wear since it's tank tops year round here. There are maybe 6-7 pearls left that are silver bodied with copper brown rings, but I despise those with a passion. Something about that color combo rubs me the wrong way. Maybe they can go in the back towards the clasp so I don't have to see them lol.

The bronze undertones are scrumptious
Maybe you just need to get used to the length, it looks lovelly

The length is kind of inbetween right now, I'm going add in the rest of the loose pearls and see if 27" sits better on me.

This is today's wrist stack. Still need to remove one pearl from each bracelet because they keep sliding all over my forearm and the clacking makes me anxious.

Beautiful pearls @ForteKitty. The necklace is so pretty with the baroque, colorful pearls. The bracelets look great together and I love all your thread color choices.

Thanks ladies! I got two dangles today. Picked a larger hoop so it can go thru huggies, studs, and I can use a hoop clasp and attach it to chains. Mismatched on purpose to go with the necklace. Man they look so washed out here. It's overcast but an oddly bright overcast today. The hoops on the dangles are 4mm. Pearls are 12mm in diameter.

I had a pair of half-drilled Tahitians with holes a touch too skinny for the posts I wanted to use. I just reamed them out in a bowl of water with the eye of a sewing needle.

I feel both like MacGyver and like my Serious Pearl Fan Club membership should probably be revoked.

:shock::shock::shock:

And also, what posts did you buy? Everything I've looked at haven't been too clear on post size and actual length that goes into the pearls. I have a few 9-10mm Tahitians that need to be set into earrings and I want to do it myself.

I am routinely irritated by the lack of pertinent details on product listings. I totally hear you. Exasperating.

These were oldies from Pearl Paradise - I didn’t actually buy them. I can measure when I’m home today if that’s helpful... I have a few types and they do differ quite a bit...

I can't tell you how annoying it is to buy 6mm cups and find a 3mm peg. Seriously how is that meant to hold an 8mm pearl. Especially bad when you are looking at large pearls and the pegs are totally insufficient .

Try the cups from Bella - I have found that the pegs on those are usually in proportion to the size of the cups. So you get a nice long peg with an 8mm cup. Hopefully they haven't changed their specs. But they were the only American supplier that seemed to carry a long peg consistently .

And as a rule get cups about 2mm smaller than your pearls. Sometimes you can go down 3mm.

Jumped in the shower tonight to wash my hair and realized i still had my carnival freahies on and my mall pink FW earings
it takes for ever for our hot water to get through so i wasn't keen to turn the water off and get out
leaned over and put a dry face cloth into the basin over the plug hole and placed the pearls there for safe keeping
I desided to wear them on Tuesday because it was raining i thought they would enjoy the humidity
I dont mind wearing them in the shower occasionally but not with shampoo

I think it was Lisa that assured me they would lossen up because they were quite a snug fit
- dead right thankfully
Now they pass the dog collar test
Interestingly when i woke up they had left indents in my neck

I was trying out a 5 pearl tin cup bracelet but I don’t think the spacing appeals to me.

I much prefer this set up instead

I agree that the latter is more beautiful. :)
