I keep seeing these things for sale w/inks and stuff. I''m sure they are some sort of printer, but I want to know why they are so "special." Do they do something "normal" printers don''t do?

Thanks! Sorry I yahoo''ed the answer and nothing came up!

I feel dumb, but that''s okay!

Are you referring to a "gocco"?

I am not too sure on what they are but I know that some other PS brides have done amazing DIY invites with them.

Put that into Google and you'll find stuff relating to invitation printing.

Don't feel dumb! I ask all sorts of questions here that may seem obvious to others but aren't to me.

Unfortunately, Goccos are being discontinued...apparently it''s too expensive to make the flash bulbs you need for burning the print screens. They technically haven''t been in the US market for years, but you could still get the machines and supplies from a few retailers -- but no longer. It''s a shame, because they make really beautiful prints. If you go to Weddingbee, there is a ton of information about them.
