Maybe, maybe not, no way to tell except to ask Wink, the vendor, on his opinion of it.

Ditto on asking Wink.

I have an Infinity I1 and it''s eye-clean to me. But I have middle-aged eyes and the inclusions in mine are crystals.

Wink is at the Vegas JCK event this week. If you send him an email, he can take a look at the stone when he gets back.

Thanks I will do that. I am sure it is a beautiful stone, but I don''t know much about feathers like this.

Wink will give you an honest and expert opinion.

I received an email asking me to comment here. While I am happy to do so I am currently at the JCK convention with colleagues from around the world. Specifically I am with Lieve Peeters, the beautiful gemologist from Infinity who selected this rough crystal at tender and approved it to become an Infinity diamond.

Lieve and Paul planned the orientation of the crystal so that the main characteristics are totally enclosed. She knows this diamond and assures me the small feather at the girdle is not any kind of durability issue. John Pollard added that this diamond already underwent more extreme heat and friction during their bruting and blocking process than it will ever see again in normal wear.

I also know this diamond and while I would have given the same assurances it seems more special to relay the words of the lady and gentleman who took it from rough crystal to its final polish.
