WG with Platinum Mounting or not???

I want opinions on getting a platinum mounting with an 18k white gold ring. I am worried the color will not match. However, I am also worried with 18k white gold mounting that it will eventually show yellow which in turn might make the diamond look discolored.

So, what are your opinions on white gold with a platinum mounting?

My setting is WG with platinum prongs and you can''t tell the difference between the two unless you look really, really closely. Then, you might see a very slight difference in color, but its really not a noticable difference.
