Hi all, WF sent me an update with the wax images for my five-stone ring. Would you all mind giving it a quick look to make sure everything is in order before I give WF the thumbs up go-ahead? Thanks a bunch

. So far, I am really happy with it, it gives more finger coverage than I was expecting and they nailed the U-shape I was going for.

Thanks Kaleigh. It''s really fun to see how the project is coming along.

I think a few people are calling me KC now, which is fine with me. I didn''t realize I would be on this site so often when I chose my name, otherwise I would have picked something easier to type LOL. But now I''m addicted...

Thanks happygal, I''m very impressed with WF''s capabilities. I''m pretty sure they can make just about anything, but I''m not sure if they''ve done a U-shaped band before either.

Thanks London, for fun I attached a pic of the stones alone. They look pretty well-matched. I think I will be very happy with them. I loooove looking at this picture.

Make sure to ask the setter to line up the facets!
It`ll look better for it

Or the hearts! if you can`t tell the difference there is no point worrying about it.
All round stones have facets that can be aligned, but it`s just an extra thing that alot of people would never consider or care about.

Koursie, it will be spectacular!

KC,congrats! your ring will be beautiful. What is your ring size?

That is going to be one stunning ring!!
Congrats!

I commented on your other thread, but I think your ring is going to be sheer perfection!!!

Wow, that''s going to be gorgeous!!!

That looks absolutely gorgeous! Two years ago, I upgraded my diamond studs, and had my .33 studs put into a three stone ring, with a blue sapphire as the center. I have always wondered about resetting the sapphire into an antique setting, and getting three more .33 rounds and making a 5 stone like yours. I can''t wait to see the finished product - you may push me into doing it. (Oh honey, our 15th anniversary is coming up next year!!) By the way, the upgrade/recycle project was my husband''s idea! I''m a lucky girl!

What size is the ring?

You must be so excited! That is going to be stunning!

Thanks DeeJay, your beautiful eternity band really convinced me to go with the bigger stones. I am so glad that I did!

Aw, thank you jcrow! I love the U-shape look as well. I saw it on a daniel k eternity band and I just loved it. This one is slightly different since the stones are set lower, but its still incorporates the U''s. I think the U-shapes give it such a nice sleek and open look.

KC,congrats! your ring will be beautiful. What is your ring size?
My ring size is 4.5, so pretty small. I''m really happy with the amount of finger coverage I am getting from this ring.
