WF magnification for pics / clarity question

Was wondering what magnification whiteflash takes their pictures at (10x, 50x etc)? And is that the same throughout the ideal scope, aset, & diamond image?

The images below are of a ACA VS2 .9ct diamond with 3 crystal inclusions on the AGS cert. Two of which you can see on the ideal scope image. In your best guesstimations would this diamond be eyeclean? Or are these noticeable black specks?

Whiteflash says this is an eyeclean diamond, and I realize they're a company many folks trust.

Yes I'd bet it is eye clean. Keep in mind those pics are HUGE. Stand on the other side of the room from the computer and see if you can still see them.

I also agree that it is likely eyeclean - but just so you have the specifics, here's a link to WF's definition of eyeclean from their FAQ page: http://www.whiteflash.com/about-diamonds/faq/what-is-your-definition-of.htm

Basically, "No inclusions visible to the naked eye of a person with 20/20 vision when viewing the diamond in the face-up position at a distance of approximately 10 inches under normal overhead lighting."

If your eyesight is better than 20/20, or your definition of face-up eyeclean uses a distance of 6 inches, or if you want to know if it is eyeclean from the side... these are all questions to bring up to your WF sales rep - they will give you an honest evaluation.

This is Great advise...

Looking at the pictures, I would guess eye clean at any distance, but you should ask.

I found two, unless both are the same but they are so tiny I doubt you will see them IRL.

Very true, the diamond's picture is about the size of an orange lol. Does anyone have an idea at what magnification the pictures are taken?

I have spoken with my sales rep and they assure me its eyeclean. Its just nerve-racking... I'v seen multiple posts since I purchased the diamond with people complaining about black crystals in VS2's. From the diamond image you can see the little one, but the reflections on the above facets obscure the possibility of seeing the larger crystal you can see in the ideal scope (at 1'oclock). Really appreciate the feedback!

I think it's 40x.

^true story.

Wow, what a pretty stone. Nicceeeeee IS too

Yeah, that one's going to be eye-clean. And gorgeous!
