WF Legato vs. 2nd Hand Ritani? I/J vs. K???

Is this second-hand ritani the EGL SI2 that you will not be able to see in person prior to purchase? Even if you have negotiated a good price, it still seems like a gamble if you don''t know if the stone will be eye-clean enough for you. Many a buyer has convinced themselves it will be ''good enough'' only to regret it later...

The 2nd hand ring is from a broken engagement. The seller says she only wore it for a month I believe. It was bought at Bridges so I have reason to think it won't be a dud.
My husband will be seeing it before purchase and meeting her at Bridges to verify everything. Also I believe Bridges does "stand by it" at least to an extent. Certainly, it isn't as ideal as having a ring from Pearlman's but its a F Si1 .97 and a platinum ritani setting for $3500. Its not something to dismiss out of hand for sure. And remember, no matter what I wouldn't be getting what most people here consider to be a great diamond in my budget with the setting I want. So I am choosing the ring I think will make me happiest. I think my husband has better eyesight than me anyway so he knows enough to walk away if the diamond doesn't shine.

I spoke to Bill and he told me to go for it, it sounds like a great deal. If it doesn''t work out, he''ll still be there. He''s my plan B. Or my plan A.5 . He is such a classy person, I know that I will be buying from him in the future (unless I happen to stumble across a 40%off 2nd hand 1.8mm ritani wedding band as well).

Hopefully, the next photos I post will be hand shots! I am soooooexcited!
