Hey there..

I am still debating ideas for an "everyday" pendant. I thought I wanted a pear solitaire but I ordered some cz's to get an idea about size, and naturally the size I really like is more than my budget allows.

I thought about getting another solitaire, but then I came across this one on WF's web site. They make a few different sizes, I was thinking about the .5cwt one, with 7 - .07ct ACA stones. They do have smaller ones as well.

Is this too trendy or too much for everyday? Thanks for the thoughts.

Darn picture....trying again....

Hey Pebbles, I don''t think that it would be too much for every day wear. Whiteflash is so accomodating, perhaps they would take a picture next to a ruler, or a dime and you can get an idea of the actual size of the pendant (if they have a ready made one in that size), if not, perhaps just a picture of the setting. Alternatively, maybe they can get one of the ladies there to model it and take a neck shot? It is a very pretty pendant and you know it will be the super fantastic!

I wish you well,

Bridget

Ooooo, Pebbles, just imagine the sparkle and flash that will come off of 7 of those babies!! I don''t think it would be too much for everyday wear at all.

I like the flower cluster pendant a lot. I actually bought one very similar for my sister several years ago (waaaay before my PS days) and she loved it so much she wore it (and still does, actually) every day. I was wary to buy her such a gift because my parents had bought her a diamond solitaire pendant a few years prior to that, and she never, ever wore it. I told her this after I bought the cluster pendant for her and she told me that the solitaire was a little too blingy for her to wear every day (I disagree, but we''re different that way) but she loved this pendant and it was "just right" - enough to make a statement, but not so blingy she''d worry about getting jumped (she works in a rough area). Anyway, this long winded answer is just to say I think it would be great!

Pebbles,

I think the flower pendant would be lovely! Would you be the first PS''er to get one?

It would be a much more substantial look for the money than a solitaire (pear or round).
Since you have a round solitaire necklace already, this would be nice change.

Jelly -- that''s what I''m thinking -- it is less expensive and I would have more ct wt than if I got a solitaire. I just got back my solitaire that I put in a bezel and while I like it, I''m not loving it. So maybe this would be good.

I like it :}
but:
If it was me id put a larger colored gemstone in the center then have the diamonds around it.

OOOOOOOOoooooo is right! That''s gorgeous! Ok, now experiencing pendant lust.

I think it''s very classy looking and not at all too big at that size. IMO, it''s the most feminine and delicate of their pendants.
I''ll have to keep that one in mind for the future. Reminds me of a snowflake too, but that could just be because we''re snow-deprived this winter.

I love it pebbles. It''s very pretty!!!

I like it a lot! Actually, I have a pendant that is VERY similar to it that belonged to my grandmother. I believe it is about 40 years old so I would not think of the style as *trendy* at all. I wear it quite often -- dressy and casual. All those little diamonds in a cluster throw off lots of little sparkles. I think you''ll get a lot of wear out of it, and it''s a good choice if a solitaire is not in the budget.

Hi!pebbles
I don''t think It too trendy or too much for everyday.
I have a similar flower neklace and it''s my favorite one for casual use .

I want that one too!

I wasnt'' sure what size would equal maybe a "look" of a 1c or maybe 1.5c.. solitare in that cluster.

Darn! I was hoping someone had a neck shot!

According to the WF web site, the .5cwt one I was originally looking at has a 9 mm diameter, which I''m thinking may be too big for me.

The .25cwt one has a diameter of 7.5 mm (this is most likely the one I will be going with) and the .20cwt one has a diameter of 7 mm.

I am waiting for a call back from WF; I am asking to see if they have a neck shot as well.

I''d love to see a neck shot. It''s so beautiful!!

I like it, too! I also like Storm''s idea... imagine a sapphire in the middle! Whooooaaaaa, baby!

I also like the XO pendant on WFs website. Have you considered that one? I think it is adorable and it''s on my (always-growing, never-ending) LIST!!!

I like the XO one too but I think the X kind of takes away from the diamonds. I think I want an all diamnond look.

I agree a colored center stone in the middle of the flower cluster would be pretty, but I don''t think I want a colored stone for everyday. I would be too worried about it matching my outfit.
