Really Monarch is right, the swinging community are very secretive and so there really aren't any true signs to indicate someone is in the lifestyle with absolute certainty. I've read jewelry can be used (black rings on right hand, anklets and toe rings worn on certain sides) but even then the only way to really know is to be at a club or get together. So your garden gnomes and frogs and pineapples are all safe

God, the rental that I own has a garden frog statue, with a fountain springing from its mouth! But it did not look like a swinger's club, just like an old rancher rewired by a person obsessed with electrical work, but very amateurish (he really connected it all in an odd way).

I just don't get the whole swinging thing, I've seen interviews with swingers and it just doesn't ring true. My hairdresser has swinger clients, and for the most part, the women going along with it, (rather than being the initiator) because they get coerced by their husbands, or they want to keep an eye on them.

DH worked with a guy who was into swinging with their neighbours. They ended up swapping permanently. Neither relationship lasted, and it really screwed up all their kids.

I'm old fashioned enough to believe if you're happy with your partner, you don't need anyone else.
