Now that I have all that pesky diamond research over with!

My search is OVER!

I picked the 1.27 carat E I-1 over some smaller (better clarity) stones
I guess I am a little bit of a size gal.

AND- I got a new setting, too which will take 4 weeks to build to fit the stone.

I got a yellow gold Ritani solitaire.
It's very unusual- not your typical Ritani.
It has surprise diamonds AND a mock cross-prong head (set on a peg).

I have an SI2 stone and would have gladly gone for an I1 if a nice one were available at the time. I am often enamored with beautiful photos of hugely magnified, flawless diamonds and realize that mine would not photograph as well at such magnification BUT... it spends 99% of its life on my finger and not under a microscope or camera...

And speaking of camera... you need to get your hands on one and take some pics as soon as you can, girlfriend!

Congrats!!! I''m not sensitive to clarity myself so I''d also say WTG on the I1 find. I would have loved to find one of those myself ''eye clean'' in that carat weight but I didn''t get that lucky
