Well after all me research I need some opinions

Thanks to everyone on here, I have been lurking for some time doing a bunch of research.
To give a little background I have been looking for a round stone between 1.25 and 1.5 CT's. I am willing to comprimise on color and clarity, but not cut or size to find the best stone. Earlier this week I had 4 stones sent from goodoldgold to look at side by side. Below are the 4 stones.

I really liked the eighternity, in fact out of the 4 it was the best to my eyes. I did like the 1.54 regular hearts and arrows cut but I could see to much color in that one for my eyes. The eighternity faced up much whiter. I was able to compare the size color trade off first hand and all the women that were with me picked the bigger sized stones hands down, as did I.

The eighternity is eye clean fro the top, but has a very small crystal from visable from the side and it does show some color from the side. I want to use a platinum setting so it is a slight concern. I have seen many I's in platinum that look great, so I am not that worried.

Here is another stone with a hearts and arrows cut that has a better color.

What do you think of these choices. I would really love to have your opinion.

Hi I''m new here but since nobody else has answered...

It''s GREAT that you got to see all those stones side by side. Go with the one that looked the best to you. Personally I would like to see a tiny flaw from the side. That way I''d always know it was my diamond! That''s assuming it''s tiny and not really seen by others.

These are all great diamonds from Jon and as you have been able to see the 4 contenders, I echo what Stonehunter said, go with the one you like best! I wouldn't worry about setting an I in platinum at all, that's me, unless you are very colour sensitive then I am sure it will be fine. The I Eighternity is a stunning diamond!!!! Regarding the crystal on the side, when you have it set you could always be request that the crystal is covered with a prong. I am sure you would be pleased with any of these - one more thing....we INSIST on seeing pics when the ring is completed! Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the opinions. I am forcing myslef to decide this weekend so any more thoughts anyone has would be helpful.

I will post plenty of pictures when I get it completed.
