Rod, tons and tons of fairydust coming your way! I''m excited for you; the interview sounds like it went REALLY well! Of course you have my absolute best wishes and I have my hopes waaaay up high for you. I have a feeling that this opportunity will have a very positive outcome for you.

Nothing new here...DH and I are still on the job hunt and exhausting every last possibility...his last couple interviews haven''t been anything special and the last couple leads I''ve gotten have been b.s., basically. We''re still treating the job searches as FT jobs and it''s a tiring process, but we know that one of these days our situation is bound to become more positive.

We''ve just been doing fixit projects around the house, taking care of and playing with our dogs, enjoying this time off, and trying to get some exercise here and there when we can. Lots of dog-walking going on, that''s for sure, and the doggie are loving it! It snowed again tonight, though...we are starting to really get tired of snow removal but at least it is an excuse to get outside and get some exercise and fresh air, although it is BITTERLY cold!

Sounds like everyone is doing ok. I hope all of you suffering from flu bugs and the like get over them soon, it is just no fun to be stuck indoors feeling yucky.

Take care, thank you for letting me just check in!

Julianna, maybe the wisdom teeth will knock me out so I get a lot of sleep?! (still don''t know how I managed to keep them in my head until now, I''m 28) Good for you for all the running. I''m usually not out of bed before 8 or so, and even then, I do''t workout until 11!!
I''m 29 and I still have mine; I only have two, and they''re diagonal from eachother in my mouth. Every few years my dentist is like "so...about these wisdom teeth..." and I tell him if they aren''t disrupting anything (so far, so good), they are welcome to STAY in my mouth. Pulling teeth for the sake of pulling teeth is not amusing! Lucrative, perhaps, but not for the poor soul getting ''em yanked...

Anyway hope you get eons of naps after the teeth pulling. Sorry about the mattress dealie, I hope your body adjusts quickly. The new mattress has to be better for you, right?

Also, re: getting up at 8: *ENVY*

Ahhhh the good life. Hee hee!

Rod, I know it''s been a long road of interviews and dead ends, but honestly you''re making this whole thing called "life" look easy. Between the sushi/coffee/froyo lunches, the sunshine and gently waving palm trees, and the four hour interviews, you''re setting a good example for all of us! Dumptrucks o'' dust, here''s hoping you are gainfully employed again soon!

Morning everyone...........

Nothing on the fitness front to report. After my interview, I was just too wound up to hit the gym. And Charlie''s still a bit under the weather, so he suggested I just pick up a chicken and cook dinner and we have a nice relaxing evening at home. Sounded good to me for sure. Now that we''re both home full time, I''m not sure what we''ll do today, but I think we should make his first day of unemployment enjoyable. Regardless, it''s back to the gym tomorrow and Sunday without fail!

Monnie, thanks for the support. I know you and hubby are working hard at finding jobs and I know you will find something great soon. Sorry for the continued snow. At least while I''ve been unemployed, it''s been beautiful weather to be able to be outside and enjoy some of my time off.

Thanks katebar, Marcy, Lorelei, somethingshiny and Julianna. Julianna, I''m not so sure I''ve made life look too easy, but thanks for the kind thought!!

I''ll check in later and hope you all have a great Friday!

Yay! Much better sleep last night. Although I was up 4 times with my little guy. I think he''s got conjunctivitis now. He kept asking me to hold a cold cloth over his swollen eye, and it''s still gross looking. He has an appt this afternoon. Three dr appts in one month! I haven''t gone three times in 2 years! I''m trying to be more proactive in his health than my parents were for mine. Although I think I turned out fine, a bit scarred and dazed certainly, but no lasting effects...except that twitch...

Julianna I had one wisdom toofer yanked several years ago, but I''ve never had insurance to cover them. Now I''m just sucking it up and paying for it because I''m tired of them hurting. (which they do most of the time...you''d think I''d be thinner...) Anyhoo, the bottom ones are forcing such an angle, it''s making my front teeth turn and now my bite feels funny, too. It IS the good life getting up at 8 (or later). DH gets home around midnight, we talk for a while and then go to bed around 1, so it''s not like I''m getting dozens of hours of sleep, but I''m definitely NOT a morning person. I find it''s better to sleep through the wee hours of the day!

Monnie Just wanted to say that your optimism is wonderful!!!

Well, gotta get yogaing (that can''t possibly be anywhere close to a real word)

Have a great day!

Haha SS, I just used "yoga-ed" in the sensitive skin thread. "Yogaing" is DEFINITELY a word in my vocabulary. Speaking of which, I have done NO yogaing in the past week. Perhaps tonight I will.

I miss you all. I''ve been MIA this week because I''ve been sooooo busy.

Sounds like everyone else is too because it''s a Friday and we''ve only got three pages! Usually by Friday the WWT is on page 5 or so. Leave it to me to notice silly things like that.

Anyway, Mara I''m so glad your joints are feeling better. Thanks for the Neutrogena body oil tip. Do you use it straight after getting out of the shower? Is it greasy? Can you get dressed right after you put the oil on?

Rod and Charlie and Monnie and Mr. Monnie, I''m sending two squadrons of helicopters with job dust over in your directions.

I gotta run but hello to everyone!! I''m so sorry this isn''t more detailed but I hope everyone is having a good week.

I''m so obsessed with yoga now. I got a new yoga work out video from Wal mart that I love amazingly!

Today I did my walk and a morning yoga routine. Last night did yoga and the self strength workout.

morning all!!

kimi so sorry to hear you are still under the weather with that nasty flu. sleep is really all that i wanted to do when i was sick. it was so tedious!! and considering i didn''t eat hardly anything, i lost hardly any weight. i was kind of bitter like, well if i have to SUFFER at least let me drop a few lbs so i can have some fun putting them back on. lol!

yay for everyone dropping weight, that''s so fabulous, stick with whatever you are doing!!!

CJ...the body oil isn''t greasy, but i don''t put a lot on. actually i mix it with vaseline firming lotion and put that on as my lotion. and sometimes use olay super hydrating, mostly in the summer too. i make little weird lotion oil cocktails.

Rod, hope you get this job if it''s something you really want, keeping fingers crossed!!
Monnie you guys are so optimistic and happy, have fun continuing to enjoy the time together. I''m sure in no time you both will be employed thinking wistfully ''remember when''.

Thanks for all the well wishes and congrats on feelig better, finally! I am still about 95%...sometimes my right hand aches and my grip is not as good as it was before by any means yet. I am still taking anti-inflammatory. Last nite I did Zumba, which is a pretty intense class, so I did 3/4 of it only and then went off to shop at TJ''s for groceries. But it was great to get back into it! I feel a little sore today but nothing too badly..and did some abs last nite too. Tomorrow I''ll do Zumba again, slightly less intensive class on Saturdays...diff teacher/style.

This morning my boss wanted donuts (She LOVES them more than me almost) so after I got off my conf call at home she messaged me and asked me if I would stop and get some...hahaa..so I said sure! I got her 3 and she already ate them all (and she is so thin!), and then got myself and my friend/coworker 2 to share. I ate my 1/2''s already but I actually hollow out the middle and just eat the glazing and sweet part...so not quite as bad? LOL.

Greg''s Dad and Stepmom are in SF today and coming to us tonite and will be with us all wkd. I am such a freak about people visiting, I make the house look SPOTLESS and I end up even doing things like touching up the wall paint, hanging new pictures, changing out old photos in frames, putting fresh flowers all over the house, making sure the guest bedroom looks fab. I don''t know why since that is not how we live necessarily, all perfect and spotless, but I hate having the house seem less than what it can be for guests! Even family!!

so anyway i am taking off work early to get my car washed and finish up some stuff in the house. yay for a short friday!! it''s 70 here today and hopefully wil be fab all wkd. happy weekend all...!!!

Good afternoon all! Whew, what a day! I have unboxed the entire house except for Andrew''s playroom which is going to be quite a task. I think I am finished for the day and will tackle that job in the morning. I am so looking forward to going grocery shopping with Adam this weekend to stock up on everything and finally have some healthy foods again. I am sooo tired of eating out. We went to this pizza place last night which wasn''t great. I had 1 small piece of pizza and shared a cannoli with Andrew...it wasn''t even that good, so I''m not really sure why I kept eating it. Anyway, it is going to be back on track for me starting tomorrow! I am going to go up and check out our gym and probably do a good long workout on the elliptical and some weights in the morning. Hope everyone has a great night!

Hi everyone. I am very excited the weekend is finally here. My stupid right knee is MAD at me again. It got pretty bad today and it catching when I walk and bend it. I’d best take it easy for a few days. Rats.
Monnie, you guys must really be getting the snow this year. Good luck on the job search for you and your husband.
Julianna, I am with you I’m keeping my wisdom teeth until they tell me I have to get them pulled. I am not a fan of dental work.
Somethingshiny, I am glad you slept better. LOL about the twitch. Good luck with getting your teeth out; if they hurt I am sure you’ll feel better soon.
Rod, I am glad you had a nice relaxing evening last night.
CJ, I hope you get time to do some yogaing tonight.
Dragon, I am glad you are enjoying yoga.
Mara, yay for going back to zumba. I am going to have a donut hole in the morning; I am meeting my dad for his morning coffee and donut. Have fun with your company this weekend.
Steph, what a relief to get most of the house in place and be back to normal eating.
Have a great weekend.
Marcy

Checking in, it has been one of those weeks, but hopefully the weekend will be better.

I have done weights twice this week, did upper body on Monday and lower last night, I am feeling it today - ow! Also fitted in some cardio a couple of times, so not bad for such a pants week in other respects!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick visit as I am supposed to be doing housework!

I have got one wisdom tooth, not sure what that says about how wise I am!
9.gif
My dentist says that I have one which tried to grow in on an angle so it got stuck against the side of the next tooth along. He says that it could get infected at some point, and if it does I need it out. Yuk! I have decided its not going to get infected!

I can't believe its 70 degrees where you are Mara, its freezing here. Windy and rainy. Oh well, spring will be here soon - apparently.

Good luck as you wait to hear how your interview went Rod.

Get well soon Kimberly!

Keep thinking positive Monnie, you will both find a perfect job soon. I know that its scary, my hubby had to find a job very quickly last year when I got too sick to work.

Well done on your work outs Lorelei! I still haven't been to the gym! I am feeling a lot better now so hopefully Monday will be gym day!

OOOH and I lost 2.5lbs this week!!! Yey!!! It wasn't even that hard! All I did was cut out sweet stuff and stopped eating between meals. No chocolate for a whole week! Scary numb tongue migraine stopped me eating that!

I have started having porridge for my breakfast. I really feel full after it and don't need anything to eat till about 1pm. Marvelous!
36.gif

I love daffodils! We have them in our garden already - even with the pants weather!!

Still here, and finally feeling like I''m getting a bit better. My voice is coming back and I woke up a bit more alive than I have all week. J''s ordered that I take it easy for the weekend as next week is a big deal and he doesn''t want to see me overdo it and end up feeling icky again. Perhaps a nice walk will be in order later today. We''ve been eating good stuff at home. I''m not really hungry though so I''ve been eating about 1/2 my dinner. Ice cream feels great on my throat so I''ve had some every night.

Marcy, sorry the knee is acting up.
Mara, enjoy your company.
Lorelei, I hope you have a good weekend.
Rod, sending dust your way.
Maisie, porrige is a great way to start the day. Hooray on the weight loss.
Steph, you''re a moving champ! I still have boxes I haven''t tackled from our move a year and a half ago.
CJ, I hope you were able to do some yogaing.
SS, hope the matress is getting better.

Have a good day all.

Monnie and Rod, good luck on the job front. I''ll be waiting for that good news announcement!

dragonfly, what yoga video do you do? That''s one thing I haven''t tried yet, but other than running I do all my exercise with videos so maybe I''ll give it a try.

Mara, that''s great that you are feeling better! And I know what you mean about a clean house for guests. I''m not a neat freak most of the time but I feel like everything has to perfect when people are coming.

Steph, that''s great that you are mostly done with the unpacking and can resume normalcy now!

Maisie, 2.5 lbs in a week, that''s great!

I ran five miles this morning (49 minutes). That''s only the third time I''ve made it that far. The first time, I got strep throat the next day. The second time, I fell asleep immediately afterwards which led to the doctor telling me I was overdoing it in my recovery. So hopefully this time I''m really recovered (I worked up from 3 to 4 in my previous runs) and nothing bad will happen tomorrow. I certainly feel good and energized.

I feel so strong now that I''m back doing the Firm at my normal intensity and regularity again. As much as working out can be a drag, not being able to is even worse. And things get easier. I remember trying to finish up a 2 or 3 mile run and having to bargain with myself to run to this tree or that post because I just wanted to collapse. Now I can run so much farther and while I can''t always sprint at the end, I''m also not on the verge of collapse. And while I''m breathing hard, I was able to talk to my husband when he showed up on his bike while I was finishing up mile 3 of my 4 mile run on Wednesday. It''s the same with the Firm. At first I had to pause it and catch my breath throughout the workout. Now the only times I pause it are because I need to blow my nose or I missed a cue and didn''t get my equipment ready in time.

I may have been a little too overconfident in my strength last week, though. A big box of newspapers (1000) was delivered to my classroom, and I decided to move it to the back of the room. One concerned student told me not to move it, that I''d "throw my back out." But this student is totally out of shape, so I thought, better me to carry it than her! While I was carrying it, a male student laughed and pointed out that my arms were shaking. Um, hello, I weigh 115 pounds and I''m carrying this huge box. Let''s see how well you do with it! But anyway, the box really was a little much for me and I had some back soreness that night. If I weren''t in shape, I''m sure I really would have thrown my back out!

Hi everyone. I went on a shopping spree today - new clothes for all parts of the body and all (except the tops) are smaller sizes. Woo hoo! I bought some spring color pants so now I just need spring to arrive which in Wyoming is about June 10th. Ha Ha.
I was minus 148 pounds this morning.
36.gif
I can smell and taste minus 150. I can hardly wait.
Lorelei, sorry to hear you had a pants week – I sure hope your weekend is going better. My DH would be right there with you – his week was totally pants too. Here’s hoping both of you have a better week this week.
Maisie, can you send someone over to do my housework too? Good thinking not to let your tooth get infected. Woo hoo for loosing 2.5 pounds this week.
Kimi, I am glad to hear your voice is coming back. Enjoy that ice cream; it does feel good on a sore throat. My knee was okay when I got up but flared up walking around shopping. Rats. Rest up so you’ll be ready for your big day on Monday.
Phoenix, congratulations for running 5 miles today. Sending your PS dust that you’ll still be feeling fine tomorrow.
Well, take care and have a great evening. Bye.

YAY Marcy,

You will be there in no time. I am SO proud of you!!!!!!! You are such an inspiration to all of us.

I just dropped in to say hello to everyone.

Rod, I hope you get the job. I wish Charlie was feeling better too. I so wish he would go to the doctor''s. I have to drag Rick to the doctor''s, when he is ill.

Hi everyone

Linda

Hey Skippy are you back, I see you posted
36.gif

Hey everyone!

We had our usual, Sushi - FroYo - Sbucks night last night and then we just lounged around the condo with a kitty glued to our shoulders. This morning was just glorious weather wise. It hit the mid 70''s, with perfect blue skies, light breezes and absolutely no humidity. Charlie had brought a lot of stuff home from the office, and we wound up reorganizing our storage unit for a couple hours after our coffee, scone and fresh fruit. Then we had a quick bite out, sat under the oak and enjoyed the lovely day, before finally heading off to the gym. I can honestly say that after just a few days out of the gym, I can see how people can have a difficult time pushing themselves back into it. Since Charlie had been sick, he hadn''t been since last Sunday, and I hadn''t been in 3 days and if he had just said, "hey, let''s just hang out drink coffee," I might have agreed to that. But, we did the right thing and hit the gym and I''m ever so happy I did. To be honest, having 3 days since my last workout, I could really feel the workout today, but I did absolutely terrific and pushed maybe even a little harder as a result. My biceps actually got really pumped, which was pretty darn cool, IMHO. We worked out pretty intensely for 2.5 hours, so I was dragging a bit by the end of my elliptical run of 35 minutes, but it felt good for sure. We''ll be back tomorrow like normal.

Dinner tonight was a surprise. Charlie wanted Pizza. Charlie NEVER wants Pizza, so I wasn''t going to refuse the opportunity. Since I haven''t really had a real Pizza in a long long time, there''s this place called Sally O''Neals that is very close to us and is supposed to be fantastic (Mara, I still haven''t forgotten your recommendation). So, we went there and either I haven''t had Pizza in ever so long, or this really was terrific Pizza. We were famished after having just worked out and we wound up ordering a 16" pie with mushroom, spinach and pepperoni. Yummo, and we ate every single speck of it too. Our waitress seemed quite surprised we were able to polish off the entire thing, just the two of us?? In retrospect, we should have ordered the 12" Pizza, but we so enjoyed having a Pizza dinner and now that itch has been scratched for some time to come. There was no room for Fro-Yo, so we just sat under the oak and visited with friends and had coffee. All in all, it was a really nice day. Charlie seems so much more relaxed now that he is officially out from work. It''s been a burden working for the last 6 weeks knowing that the only reason he was there was to close the office. So, it''s nice it''s over. Of course now he has to start looking for a new job and that stress hasn''t really settled in yet.

I didn''t hear anything yesterday about whether I made it to the next round of interviews. I was supposed to hear though, so that doesn''t give me the best feeling. I suppose I''ll hear something Monday, but am preparing myself in case it is a rejection.

Steph, too bad you guys are over 1.5 hour away. You could have come had terrific Pizza with us!!

Sorry your knee is bothering you Marcy. BUT YAYAYAYAYAY for being minus 148!!!!!!! That is so terrific!!!

Sorry it''s been a Pants week Lorelei. Sounds like you''ve had some good fitness activities going on though, so that''s great!

I hope you are able to make it the gym next week Maise!! YAY to you for losing 2.5 pounds!

I''m glad you are doing better Kimberly. I know Monday is a big day for you, so I hope you are completely recovered for that.

Wow Phoenix - 5 miles is great!!! I''m not a runner, but over the last year have run a few times. I got a little zealous once and ran 8 miles. My knee''s hurt for a few weeks afterwards. Now, if I go for a run, I keep it to about 3 - 4 miles and I figure for an older guy, that''s good enough, with all the gym time I have as well. Anyway, I''m glad you doing so much better!

That''s about it for the day. Sleep well and see you tomorrow.

PS: Skippy aren''t you home yet?? I know I speak for many when I say I miss you Skippy Girl!

*whistles while packing suitcase* Rod, I''m on the next flight to Tampa. Pull out the sleeper sofa. LOL! We just saw on the news last night that there was snow on the ground here 22 out of 29 days in February. Blech! Ready. For. Spring.!!!
32.gif

We are having a little warm spell here...it''s been in the 30''s the past couple days and tomorrow they are predicting a high of 50! Holy shorts weather, batman!!! Unfortunately along with the higher temps there will be rain, but hey, beggars can''t be choosers.

Took the dogs for a walk this evening after dinner, we didn''t last too long because with the wind chill it felt like 20 degrees instead of 33.

I found a perfect job, have applied online and sent my resume directly to the recruiter...still haven''t heard anything. Could be because I''m missing one little bitty requirement, but I felt like the rest of my experience should overshadow that. I''m crossing my fingers that I get a call Monday. Otherwise, I''m still sending resumes like mad, so is DH, and we''re just pinching pennies and playing the waiting game.

Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well (sorry Kimi that you''re still feeling icky)...you guys are Rockstars, LOL! Take care!
35.gif

Linda, thanks for stopping by to say hi. I appreciate the kind words about me. I sure hope to loose those 2 pounds really soon.
Rod, I am glad you and Charlie made it to the gym today. Your pizza sounds delicious and woo hoo for enjoying every last bite of it. Thank you for the big “yay” for reaching minus 148. Like my Dh told me, if I can’t do the TM that’s okay since I got this far without it so don’t worry about it. I hope you get good news about your interview on Monday.
Monnie, good luck with hearing about the perfect job. The nice weather we had today must be reaching you tomorrow. We are getting snow tonight and tomorrow though. I am not thrilled about it either since I have to go pick up DH at DIA at 8 p.m. tomorrow evening. If it’s too bad I will drive down in the afternoon and just hang out in the airport till he arrives. Rats for snow and blowing snow forecasts.
I am so excited to know that Skippy is back.
36.gif

Laters.
Marcy

I am back, thanks friends!!! It was a wonderful time. I posted pics in the hang out thread; thank you Kimberly
1.gif
I gained 4 lbs but I don't think I could help it; there was so much good food. I know I can lose it! It is good to be back and I missed you all!
30.gif

Kimi, hope you feel better. . . the flu is bad!

Happy Sunday! I am all stressed since I have to drive 100 miles to pick up DH at the airport and there is blowing and drifting snow in the forecast for all day. I HATE driving on bad roads. DIA is out in the open so it''ll be bad out there. Aaak. I might see if he wants to rent a car to drive home but I am waiting for him to call. His flight doesn''t get in until 8 p.m. so he''s going to see if he can get out of there early on standby. Rats for not having him drive himself down there last weekend.

Hi Skippy! 4 pounds is NOTHING - and to be expected when you go on a glorious vacation with tons of yummy food. You''ll walk it off in no time.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Marcy

Good Sunday afternoon everyone! Another busy day for me today. I got up early this morning and went over to the subdivision clubhouse to check out the gym. It is okay, nothing special, but there was 1 ellipical. It was kind of nice b/c nobody else was in there so I just turned on the tv and did 45 minutes! Woohoo! That is actually the longest I have ever done the elliptical before (I usually do 30 mins.) and it felt wonderful! I did have to adjust the resistance after about 20 minutes b/c I felt like I was really pushing it. I ended up burning 400 calories though, so pretty good for my first workout in a few weeks. It is open at 5am so I am hoping to do the elliptical 5 days a week.

On the house front, we knew we were going to have to eventually get new appliances. The house was built in 2001, but the appliances were kind of dated looking, but nothing too terribly bad. However, we went grocery shopping yesterday and when we starting putting away groceries, the shelves started to fall apart. Ugh! The dishwasher was also in pretty bad shape, so we headed over to Lowes and decided to just go ahead and get all new appliances. We got a stainless steel refridgerater, stove, dishwasher and microwave. They already delivered the fridge and stove today and are going to install the rest on Tuesday. I can't wait! It already looks a million times better in here! I also spent a couple of hours cleaning tile grout. I seriously don't think this lady ever did it before, but they look a lot better now. I am probably going to have to get that replaced too, but I am not going to do everything all at once! Hope everyone has a great night!

Mara, hope you are having fun with your in-laws!

Marcy, hope your knee is feeling better! Yay on the smaller clothes!

Maisie, yay on the weight loss!

Kimi, haha...yeah, we still have some boxes out in the garage that weren't opened from our last move...I told hubby that if we haven't missed them in a year and a half, they are probably nothing important that we need to keep!

Phoenix, that is awesome...5 miles! Glad you are feeling better!

Rod, your pizza night sounds yummy. Adam and I might actually be in Tampa in 2 weeks. He has a lot of family there (well in St. Pete), and they are having a big get-together that we were invited to, so we are still deciding if we are going to make the drive. I really am sending good vibes that you will hear something tomorrow about the job
1.gif

Monnie, I really hope you hear something about the job you applied for...is it a jewelry store? I am seriously contemplating going to work at a jewelry store here, but not sure if they hire part-timers. Let us know if you get an interview...my fingers are crossed for you!

Skippy, yay...so glad you are back! I will go check out your other thread and pics here in a while. We missed you!

Hi, Linda, Lorelei, Dragonfly, CJ, SS, Julianna, and anyone else I missed!

Hi Steph,

There is nothing like new appliances is there? Too bad the people before didn''t keep their house clean, not nice.

Can you post pictures of you new house?? Would love to see them.

Being you and Rod only live one and a half hours apart, maybe you all could get together one day? That would be so much fun.

Linda

Sorry to thread jack, but Marcy are you from Colorado???? I''m from Littleton, but now live in Dallas. My whole family is still in denver though...and yes, I agree...it doesn''t matter where in Colorado you live, it takes AT LEAST 100 miles to get to DIA...it''s rather annoying.

Hey, Linda
35.gif

I will def. post pics of our house....as soon as I find the camera! I stil haven''t seen it around here...

I would love to get together with Rod one of these days...his froyo place sounds divine! I have been on the hunt for one around here, but so far no luck!!!

Evening Everyone!!

Monnie - COME ON DOWN!! I''m so sorry you''ve had such cold and snowy weather during this difficult time. At least for us, if we had to become unemployed, the winter in Tampa is the absolute best time of year for it. I hope you hear from the recruiter about your dream position. If you don''t get a call tomorrow, call them directly. I''m a recruiter and sometimes recruiters don''t recognize a diamond when it lands in their lap, so you call them and let them know you''re interested, you''re perfect for the job and you''re ready to go to work!! Good Luck!!

YAYAYAYAYAY - Our Skippy is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all missed you a lot and I''ll even venture out of the WWT to see pics of your trip.

Marcy, I hope you don''t have to drive 100 miles in blowing and drifting snow to pick up your husband at DIA. I used to come to Denver on business a lot (actually Boulder, but flew into DIA) and never understood why that airport is so remote from everything???

Steph, YAY for new appliances. I agree with Linda, that it''s amazing to see how some people can keep such messy homes and never clean up much. Our home is spotless always. We even have a house rule about the shower. The last person out has to squeegie it down and then we have a towel to wipe it completely dry after each use. Our shower and the grout look like no one''s ever even showered there. Our kitchen is the same way, and we don''t allow shoes in our house either. BTW., the FroYo we have is called CaliYogurt and they couple who opened the store near us, recently opened one in...........ORLANDO! I''m not sure where exactly it is in Orlando, but I''ll inquire the next time we''re there (tomorrow night actually). And I agree with Linda, we should definitely try to get together sometime!!

Today was just the most picture perfect day one could EVER ask for. There was never a cloud in the sky. The temperature was around 79 with absolutely no humidity and light gentle breezes. We had our normal scone, coffee and fresh fruit on the terrace, then headed out for a light lunch. After last nights indulgent pizza we decided to eat light today. Then we just sat under the oak and it was so pleasant, I actually had two cups of coffee before we headed off to the gym. We worked out for our normal 2.5 hours and I pushed a bit harder on the elliptical to help burn some of last night''s calories away. For dinner we baked some fresh salmon and also had fresh steamed broccoli and sliced sweet potatoe baked in a caserole dish with a heart healthy butter spread and cinnamon - yumm!

That''s about all I have for the end of the week. I hope you all had a great weekend. Here''s to Monnie getting positive response to her job interest and Rod getting a positive response to his interview last week (but he''s also prepared in case it isn''t the news he wants to hear). Sleep well everyone!

PS: DeeJay.......WHERE ARE YOU?????? I hope you''re just so busy selling real-estate and making millions of dollars that you don''t have time for your old WWT friends!!!!

LOL, I just wandered on her to see what everyone is up to and here you are calling my name!

I am indeed working a ridiculous amount... I won''t go into the gory details, but it looks like I may close as much by the end of this month as I did in all of last year. So tired... Need a nap...

No workouts, and on-again/off-again eating. I did really well while HH was skiing for a week, but anything I mangaed to lose while he was gone is now back!

Have ton of work to do yet tonight, but just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone!

evening all! just a quick check in...but our weekend with the ''rents in law was fun yet tiring. it was go-go-go most of the time and we ate out so much...and it wasn''t healthy!! i did zumba on saturday though so that was fun and we did a fair amount of walking.

but it''s back to regular routine for me...thank goodness. and i am pretty much all better now so i can''t wait to dive back into working out. tomorrow i see my trainer for an hour and i don''t want to do weights really since i''m still paranoid about my wrists and hands so would like to give them a few more days...so going to do pilates for legs and abs. and then tues i am going to try to go for a run. and then wed i am going to do elliptical at the gym. thurs i have a dinner and fri i''ll probabaly do gym.

and hopefully eating will be slightly better this week even though i have plans for dinner on tues and then thurs. at least next wkd we can relax!
