The book is called Core Performance Essentials by Mark Verstegen. The great thing about it is, the exercises are one's you could do at home so you really don't HAVE to do them at the gym. For me, I do 20 minutes of core training with every workout. It may be overkill, but it has completely elliminated my need to see the chiropractor, so that's a great thing!
Rod - thanks! I think I could handle 20 minutes - I just know that you spend hours at the gym per day - I was afraid a whole hour was dedicated to your core workout!!! I have always had poor core muscles, because I am really lazy about working them out! But I think I am at the point right now where I know I need to do something with them and it will definitely help with my other workouts!. I have the WORST balance, but I think it will be a good goal to also better my balance and get my abs in shape! I usually do 1-2 elliptical workouts a week, and I already ordered Rod's book!
