hi! I have had some of the BEST workouts this week. Ran 5 miles yesterday. I am super sore though so I think today will be a rest day from the gym. Tons of work to do cleaning the old house in prep for closing on Monday, so I'll be burning some calories, but no gym.
I did great on eating healthy all last week and did the 6 small meals thing, which I like and will try and keep up. Then... we met a big group of friends for pizza last night and I overdid it. We ordered a veggie pizza and I think I had 3 slices, plus a small salad and 2 beers. I know it could be worse, but I planned on having 1 slice, maybe 2 and I was hungry and it was good. Then, we had some breyers light ice cream at home. (I bought the ice cream when I was hypoglycemic from the gym - mistake! It is great though - I think it tastes as good as the non-light version.)
Anyway, new day, back on track!
Next weekend we have a big family get together with several events and lots of gooood food. I want to enjoy it without sabotaging my efforts. Will be a challenge!
