HI! I posted a couple times, but wanted to introduce myself
35.gif
I got engaged a couple months ago and my fiance and I are starting to look through some ideas for our wedding. We will get to set our date in January when we can put it on our chuch''s schedule. Should be sometime in April 2010 :)

So enough about that...

Has anyone ever done one of these? Any good pictures?? I think it is lovely and would really love to use cherry blossoms in our wedding as it will be the season for them in Washington DC.

Thanks!

I am planning on doing one for my May wedding, so I have no advice on how to make one. I just wanted to show you my inspiration picture. My wedding is outdoors and less formal, so it fits my feel better. Just thought you would like to see a little something different.

Never heard of this until now, but I love it. What about something like this?

Ooooohhhh, I am so stealing this idea! Thanks for posting it!

Great idea! As for the cherry blossoms I wish you best of luck.

Hate to bring bad news, but I checked into them before and they''re very fragile and as you know bloom a very short amount of time (like a few weeks max) so it has to be just right..not to mention extremely expensive. If I remember correctly I was quoted around $10-15 a branch. But some other, similar blossoms might be an option that can give you the cherry blossom feel! Remind me and I will look at my notes from the florist I called..she listed a few alternative options for me. A synthetic option would probably be something like these from White Aisle, or these, or these. Hope that helps some!
