Wedding ring redo is done!

I went from a .77 H- SI1 princess cut to a 1.01 D-VS1 oval cut. My ring was re-rhodium plated and polished which makes a big difference. It’s so bright and shiny that I can’t stop looking at it. It’s quite interesting how ovals look larger than their weight. It’s only a quarter carat bigger, but seems bigger to me.

My princess cut is being converted to a pendant but the mounting is on backorder. I’ll post pics when that gets in.

That’s the way I feel about it as well. I was considering a radiant cut, but the oval I found was a better value and I feel complimented my setting better.
