Would like to see pictures, preferably with pear center stones, but will happily look at what bands people wear with e-rings with baguette sides. Thanks!

See my avatar...I have a pear with baguettes. They are extremely hard to find "matching wedding bands" unless you go with
the band made for that setting (which I didnt want more baguettes). I went with a 5-stone so I could have some more bling.
I also went with 16 pointers in my 5 stone so that they pretty much start and stop where the baguettes end. I'm pretty happy
with it but I do need to get a spacer band so it doesnt eat up the prongs on my ering.

Here is the link to my post.

Edit - If you do not own this setting yet and are just considering it and wondering what wedding bands go with it...then I advise
against getting a 3 stone with baguettes. It would be much simpler to find a nice band to go with a plain solitaire pear ring
than one with baguettes.

Love your set TyTy!!!

Hi there!

I just posted pics of my new wedding band...my e-ring is a marquise with baguettes... Like Tyty, I didn't want a matchy 3 stone baguette band, but did want the band to compliment the style of the e-ring and found this band, after looking for about 4 months:

Mine are vintage though...might make a difference in your situation.

And also, like Tyty, the diamonds in both bands match up side to side and are proportionate to each other.

Just keep looking, you will find the right one! :))

Have you thought about a v-shaped band perhaps?

I have a bi-colored sapphire ring with tapered baugette sides and I wear it sometimes with chevron (v-shaped) guards. It's not a pear but the size stones were kind of tricky to match with an appropriate band.

great set! a curved band might be a nice idea with a pear center and side baguettes...

These are all lovely. I am not looking at a curved band b/c I want to be able to wear the band alone at times. So far I am thinking about baguette eternity/semi eternity bands, but NOT channel set. Any examples of these? I wonder if even an asscher or emerald eternity would clash...

I dont think emerald cut or asscher cut would clash. I think either would go nicely. Do you have a pic of your pear with baguettes
you could post? Another thing you have to consider when getting a wedding band is the height of the band. You want the height
of the band to sit up close to the height of the baguettes for a more uniform look. The first 5 stone I bought (from facets collection)
set too low...seemed like an after thought. Had to send it back.

If you look on ebay you can see lots of different styles with squarish stones...do a search on "baguette eternity band".

Edit - Thank you Amy! I'm pretty fond of it now but it really was a pain to find a band to go with it.

How about these?

I have a few rings I wear with my round with baguette engagement ring.
A plain band from e-weddingbands.
2 different vintage etched wedding bands
An eternity band with single cut stones.

wow, what a great set! I LOVE it! I'd love to see what bands like that would look like with MY pear. Thanks for sharing.

What is that your hand is resting on? Is that an instrument of some kind?

what do you think of this channel set band?

Very nice Sira! that appeals to be because it is classic, simple, not over the top, and sized appropriately in tcw to not overshadow or take away from your STUNNING pear ering.

That is very tasteful :appl:

Do you like it?

I like it!

I like the channel set band! It looks like it is about the same width as your ering which is great!

I think it's a great match!! Definitely not overpowering- just the right amount of sparkle :)

what about this eternity band? (crappy photo, sorry!) photo_62.jpg

I don't like this one as much as the channel set band. This one competes a bit with your ER.

My opinion is the channel set one. This prong setting seems to be competing with your ering - which should be the focus and the WB be the accent.

Totally agree with Enerchi and Starshine -- the channel set is perfect (very clean and elegant) and lets your e-ring with amazing pear stone take center stage. I also think the channel set band can be worn beautifully on its own. :-)

SOOOO beautiful together!! Love this set... much more than the shared prong one... just gorgeous!
