Wedding Band to Pair With Tiffany Peretti Bone Cuff?

Does anyone have any ideas on a style of white metal wedding band with diamonds that would pair well with a small silver bone cuff? My plain white metal medium-width band doesn’t quite mesh. I tried the Peretti bands with and without diamonds but am having trouble paying Tiffany prices for such simple pieces. Perhaps a bezel round brilliant semi-eternity band? Thanks for any input you may have!IMG_4761.png

Hi @dnfd I love love LOVE the bone cuff!

Personally, I’d contrast the big chunk of silver with diamonds - like an eternity band or a pave ring.

As this is PS, I think the eternity band can have large melee, not just the small melee on Tiffany’s Soleste or Metro lines hehe

Here are some ways I’ve worn it:

With Trinity ring in WG, pave and black ceramic

With Dior Bois de Rose semi-pave and Tiffany Harmony

And if my dream is fulfilled, one day I will get the gold version…

So this would be an occasional-wear wedding band for when you wear the cuff?

My first thought was something with some shine and broader convexity to match the cuff -- even like a high-polish man's 4-6mm WG band with a "D" cross-section or even a "comfort-fit" cross-section like this: "( )" Or a bombe-type ring -- which is tougher to pull off (both literally and figuratively) for a wedding band. But @Pomelo's suggestion for more contrast as opposed to just echoing the cuff look might work even better -- and opens you up to a lot more options.

Hi @dnfd, I too love the bone cuff. It’s one of my most worn pieces. I have very similar taste to @Pomelo, I wear my cuff with my five stone band and Etoile most days. (Bone ring not mine….yet)

I also have a Cartier trinity that I sometimes wear it with.

I can’t find the photo, but I also tried it on with a Graff band and it looked beautiful. I can’t remember the name of the collection but it was a spiral twist pave band.

Is that the wider cuff? You wear it well!

Thank you! Yes it’s the wider cuff, because my husband was on a work trip to NYC and the new Tiffany flagship had just opened.

I gave him specific instructions to get the small (narrow) cuff in medium size and he brings back the medium (wider) cuff in small size :lol-2: At least I managed to jam my wrist into it! International returns / exchanges would’ve been a nightmare!

Your pictures are so chic! I was thinking diamonds, too. I actually really like it with your diamond Harmony band. I have it in rose gold but may have to look into the white metal version. Thank you for the inspiration! (And the yellow gold bone cuff??? Sigh!)

That’s exactly it! Occasional wear but certainly open to wearing it more with other white metal pieces. These ideas are great. I really appreciate it!

Your cuff pairings are fabulous! So many options to think about. I’m going to a trusted jeweler next week and trying on a bunch of options. (And the bone ring looks amazing on you!) Thanks for the inspiration!

I love it on you!

I fit both the small and medium narrow cuff… but you’re making me think the small is the one to go for.

I love the wider cuff on you! It makes me want one.

Thank you again for your input, folks! I tried on a bunch of bands at a trusted local jeweler and liked two best: a chunky platinum diamond semi-eternity band or a twisted white gold band. Another option is the Peretti open hoop ring or Peretti snake. All of these are below. Any further thoughts? I really appreciate the help! This has me stumped.

Personally, I like the semi-eternity best. It’s the most wedding-bandy without competing with the cuff. I feel like the twisted band doesn’t go with the cuff, and the other two don’t look like wedding bands.

I think you need a larger diamond band to match the scale. Like a five stone. Or a bombe style ring in plat/white gold. I just think it needs more size to balance the scale of the cuff.

Thank you! I agree that the others aren't really terribly wedding bandy.

Thank you! Not crazy about the bombe look, but I like the idea of something matching the scale of the cuff. What about a 3-mm thick burnished setting band like the one below?Burnished.jpg

It could work!

One more time! Do you think something like this would work? Does it contrast too much with the fluid bone cuff, or is in interesting look? Thanks again, all!

Personally, I wouldn’t wear this very striking design with the also-very-striking Bone cuff as it becomes quite a lot to look at, but some people would be able to pull this off (I’m thinking Neptune for example!).

Depends on your personal style =)2

Very true! They compete for attention. And agreed about Neptune pulling it off from what I’ve seen of her amazing style:-) Tried on even more this weekend, including the Soleste V band that is like the V I posted above. @Pomelo, I may look for an organic modern leaf motif band like your Dior. It really meshes well with your cuff. IMG_4843.jpegIMG_4834.jpegIMG_4840.jpeg

I like this one. Lets the cuff be the star yet has its own visual interest.

Thank you! I feel like this is the one I like the most even outside of the goal of matching the cuff. I would definitely get a lot of wear out of this on a regular basis.

I think it compliments the cuff rather than matching and maybe that’s why it works. You could balance by wearing a few rings on the other hand.

Thank you! Great idea to add rings to the other hand for some balance. The bone cuff is so unique that it's hard to find its perfect pair!

I did think of some additional options, not from Tiffany but from Gabriel & Co. Do you think any of these match the organic, fluid feel of the bone cuff? These are also rings that I would definitely wear outside of just matching the cuff. @Pomelo , I was specifically playing off your idea of pairing it with the Cartier Trinity. Thanks again!
