Wedding Band Questions

I got a lot of help here with my engagement ring search, so thought I'd come back now we are looking at wedding bands.

We are looking at a fairly simple design like the attached photos. It will have approx 18 1.5mm diamonds on it.

Now my main question is what kind of quality of diamonds should I try and aim for with these - obviously as the stones are smaller I assume I don't need to aim for the same quality I did with the engagement ring. What colour/clarity etc should I be looking at, at a minimum? We've been quoted around $2,395 at the moment - and they haven't mentioned the quality as of yet. It is generally a good jeweller so I'd assume the quality is good, but I just want to have some knowledge when I go back to them with more questions.

So its about .27 ctw...is it platinum? The price seems rather high to me. Let me look around for comparisons.

Edit...is your ering all metal or do you have pave on it you are trying to match?

Sorry I forget this was mainly a US based website, that was in AUD (Australian Dollar). In USD approx $1,840.

Ring is white gold.

How about this one from Whiteflash with their gorgeous melee? Less than you were quoted (assuming I guessed at the import taxes correctly). I'm not a fan of "ok" melee. They look dull and don't have a lot of life. Well cut melee should be little bundles of fire.

that seems really expensive to me for the size of the diamonds and for white gold. I'd reach out to Whiteflash or ID Jewelry for quotes. Ask IDJ for "PS quality" diamonds.
