Can you get a more detailed shot of the shank, please? I would love to see the milgrain/pave work. Are you looking to match or contrast with your ring? (Do you like the matchy look or do you like to mix things up?)

I have a ring that is engraved/milgrained on 3 sides (not pave) and I know what you mean about showing off the sides... :)
I think it depends to a certain degree on the type of look that you want.

I will try to take some clear pics tonight...

I found you!!

I don''t have any problem of my rings rubbing against each other with all that diamond on my 3siders. The bottem of my rings are 1mm wider than the top and that additional 1mm is designed to protect the diamond rubbing against each other. Although that is the the case of mine, I guess I have to see the top shots of your ER in order to give you any suggestion.
Is yours made by Tacori? I remember I have seen some rings like yours on their site. Anyway, your ring is stunning, remind me of someone''s 3siders...

wow.. thanks for searching me out!!! i am at work and don''t have any really detailed pics .i will post the ones that i do have though ....
my ring gets wider in the middle and then smaller towards the three center stones..so i might actually be ok like you.

I am not sure if a plain white gold band with milgraine would look best because there is so much going on with my e-ring..or get a more matchy ring (which is what i really want because i love lots and lots of sparkle..

UGH..its not letting me post!!! so annoying. i will look for my original thread but i am afraid that i don''t have very detailed pics in it..

here is one link

I have seen matchy band, wrap band, spacer band, and plain bands go with 3siders in person.

A matchy band usually can be found at the store where you got your ER at the first place; I got my wedding set from a local jeweler.

I have seen two types of wrap bands, one is in u shape with one diamond on each end. In your case, your three stoners will be a five stoners; I am not quite sure if that is something your are looking for. The second type of wrap band curves around your three stoners to lock the two rings together.

Spacer band is a band that you like to wear between your matchy sets so instead of rubbing the matchy setting; the diamonds rub the spacer band instead. I am not so fond of the spacer band for personal reason. If I had mentioned before, my fingers are rather chubby, three rings on one finger will make my finger shorter, chunkier, and more sausage like

Plain band might not fit your style if you prefer as much blinks as possible like I

When do you need the WB? If you are not in rush, we can start a 3siders forum and check on how other 3 siders dealing with their diamond rubbing situation.

well, i actually had a falling out with the original jeweler who sold my FI my ring. they set my diamond wrong and i ended up having to report them to the BBB. they did have a band that went with my ring but i cannot go back there. my ring is made by the designer Nelson - I wish Tacori!! ... the whole process is annoying me. We are getting married in April so i have a little time..but this is something that i want to get out of the way!

i am not a wrap kinda girl and not really a plain band girl either. what i am in indecisive!!!

I agree about showing off the side of the ring - I wouldn''t want to cover it up with a band because then one side would never be seen. I''d either go with a flat plain band (not tall at all) or get a very low profile ring with diamonds (possibly custom made) to match the design of your ring.

Very pretty e-ring!!

I just remember one of my classmate has a ER very similar like yours, three stoners, and diamonds all around. My classmate has recently married and wearing a matchy band. I can go take some phones of her rings for you if you like. But there is just this one little thing-we have no class meeting next week and the class is a evening class so the lighting might be bad for the picture taking. However, if you like, remind me on the first weekend of November and I will get the picture of her rings for you the following Monday or Tuesday. How about that?

I am sorry to hear the original jeweler of your ER mis-set your diamond. And now I understand your dilemma.

thanks. you are a doll!
