Just when I thought the craziness was over, I am now looking at all the different wedding bands I can get to go with my e ring. I have a vatche royal crown setting so I know unless I get the matching vatche it wont sit flush with it but that''s okay. My question is which diamond bands hold together better from abuse from say knocking it into walls or on desks, a channel set band or a shared prong set band. And which is more practical? An eternity band with the diamonds all the way around or an anniversary band with only like 8-15 diamonds half way around?
Which one or combination of those holds up better?
Channel set:

Shared Prong set:

And one last question? If the diamonds in the band are of lesser clarity and color than my e ring, will it make the entire set look off? A lot of the wedding bands have I1 or I2 clarity and have H or lower for their colors. My ering is a D VS2.
And and all opinions needed.
